Punchable head does not mean anyone is going to go up to him and punch him. It's like calling someone a d**khead. Their head does not actually LOOK like a d**k, but is a great way to describe their attitude, in a fun, mocking kind of way.

And in relation to diversity, how about allowing Mr. Steve, who made that comment, the freedom to express HIS view. Or is his view somehow outside your definition of diversity?

I knew the Ginnivans, and I reckon they would laugh their heads off at this stuff, and don't see it as harmful or distasteful, just footy banter.

I still see it as hate.

You can dress it up as you like.

You group think, separatist who believe the other should be like you or they are what, "d..k h..ds".

Why if peoples attitude are not ones you agree with should they be singled out as unacceptable and ridiculed, possibly even ostracised by the "true thinkers".

You gotta love Elliott playing the game of his life last week against us, and then doing stuff all today.

No BS frees his way today.

Who’s the commentator in the swans game?. He is a cracker. Just calls the action and gets into the excitement

Alistair Nicholson? He used to call for the ABC. Very good commentator

McCartin played on, took two steps off his line, was pressured, then took it over the line. Should have been a free kick to Swans because the Pies player ran over the mark, or a behind if the ump did not see that Pies error, a  behind.

Your first sentence is spot on, but your second sentence is nonsense.  After the mark, which he claimed and the umpire paid, he played on, so the magpie player can go wherever he likes.  Then he walked it over the goal line.  Easy deliberate call.

In more good news the Bombers are embarrassing themselves. 50 points down in the 2nd Q against the team in 12th

True, but he has some stiff opposition.

Draper from Essendon?

Rhys Matheson from the Lions?

I'll throw in Tom Papley from the Swans.

Come one man, we're Demons supporters who have just beaten the blues by a point, are now watching non MFC games and enjoying some banter. There is no hate here.

What are the numbers? How much do Sydney not need to win by?

We need the Pies to score 15 points to stay 2nd. Other wise we need to win by about 4 goals more than Sydney next week.

It really doesn't matter they are playing St.Kilda next week they will belt them.

If we want to stay in Melb we have to belt Bris by about 10 goals.

Dees win, Blues lose, Pies lose, Bombers getting annihilated.

Now THAT is an enjoyable weekend.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
