Why the vomit emoji BBO?!

You don’t paint your nails during boring footy matches?

@Bitter but optimistic

Well ..... I used to have a domestic helper to paint my toenails WCW...but ... ( as I'm a reformed and woke individual) I can no longer provide details on intimate matters

I appreciate this forum is a place to vent for some people, and what really riles me, is that there is often vitriol towards umpires from certain posters.

Personal attacks wouldn't be accepted against any other group. So why these individuals? It wouldn't be tolerated in my house against anyone, I'd send my 6yo to his room, and if I spoke like that, I'd send myself to the room and give myself a good long talking to about respect, compassion and common decency.

So it's been bugging me that this forum perhaps doesn't sanction that sort of commentary (perhaps it does and I am not aware of it).

We can do better Demonlanders. #notallDemonlanders

A sample of EO when people were 'attacking' "Britney' 😉...or 'PRGUY17'

EO, without knowing exactly what comments you're referring to I do agree. I'd even take it further, I've got no time for personal appreance smack talk or "Most punchable head in the AFL" threads. Some people need to grow up and if they don't like it they can kick rocks.

The Saints have been shocking this half. No run, no heart, open Sydney players everywhere. This was a big deal game for them in the scheme of things and they've totally bottled it.

But Layzie, that thread wasn’t a personal appearance thing. It was about players who are the most irritating. I’m guessing so anyways. You’d have to ask the poster who created it, whoever she or he is

I certainly will, BBO. As soon as my nails dry.

I'm not talking about a specific thread but in my experience they are usually 100% exactly that. Find it hard to believe it's ever just soley behaviour when nearly all the people in it are redheads..

I almost feel sorry for Saints supporters….

Who am I kidding, after all we have been through I get joy laughing at other teams crushing their supporters hopes and dreams

My god the saints are terrible. It's a fine night in sydney and they have only kicked 2 goals and we are in the final term.

Turned off after ¾ time.  Awful spectacle.

I get where you’re coming from, Layzie. But that thread was definitely NOT a looks thing. And by no means whatsoever was it an invitation to bag redheads for it was me who created it and guess what colour hair I have??? Yep, a ranga I am.

I just feel for the common footy fan that pays their membership year in year out. Not gonna get high and mighty just because we were there once, I think they owe it to their fans to not fold faster than superman on laundry day after half time. Crap effort Saints, really crap effort.

On the other hand I love watching the Swans up and running. The good thing about being a general footy fan is you're able to separate emotions and not hate a team just because they beat us a few weeks ago.

I honestly don't know what thread you're referring to WCW so I'm not potting that one specifically. I must not have seen it. There are a couple on here each year and even more everywhere else where people go to town on personal appearance smack so it's much more general.

I agree with you 100%. Personal appearance should never come into it.

I started a thread last year that was intended for ppl to discuss which players get under one’s skin the most. Apart from one player, that being Rhys Mathieson, nobody mentioned looks at all. I thought it was that thread to which you alluded. All good.

Welp, I’m all footy’d out. Time to watch the GF replay again. 😁

It wouldn't matter anyway. As long as this exchange becomes a popularity pile on with jokes then that's all that matters.

Saints should start a re build . They are barely VFL standard on tonight's performance.

McCartin and Hickey would be a good start......

It’s just as embarrassing as the NRL footy show. Dunno who watches it.

Same. And if I’m feeling down but only have a short time to spare I watch the last three minutes of round 23. ❤️💙

King massively overrates this sort of thing - 2-3 is about right.

These are two good sides. Geelong are a better side this year with Stengle and De Konig.

Dangerfield got 3 weeks last year for his bump, this seemed worse, would be very surprised if it’s less than 4

  • NON-MFC: Round 06

The Easter Round kicks off in style with a Thursday night showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood, as both sides look to solidify their spots inside the Top 4 early in the season. Good Friday brings a double-header, with Carlton out to claim consecutive wins when they face the struggling Kangaroos, while later that night the Eagles host the Bombers in Perth, still chasing their first victory of the year. Saturday features another marquee clash as the resurgent Crows look to rebound from back-to-back losses against a formidable GWS outfit. That evening, all eyes will be on Marvel Stadium where Damien Hardwick returns to face his old side—the Tigers—coaching the Suns at a ground he's never hidden his disdain for. Sunday offers two crucial contests where the prize is keeping touch with the Top 8. First, Sydney and Port Adelaide go head-to-head, followed by a fierce battle between the Bulldogs and the Saints. Then, Easter Monday delivers the traditional clash between two bitter rivals, both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top end of the ladder. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • REPORT: Essendon

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.
