Have only just turned on - love the even handed unbiased umpires allowing at least two Blues showing dissent without 50 meter penalties.
Gil - anything to say?

[censored] me, I thought Carlton were a chance and tied them into a decent multi.

You are (sadly for me) correct as usual SWYL!

Perhaps I should give you a face palm !!!!

This new Carlton defence is so frightening.

I laughed when the experts highlighted this new Carlton defending when they beat us.
We scored 90 odd points in first gear.

They’ll need Cripps and McKay to kick 12 between them every week to be a chance. And Cripps can’t even drop it onto his boot straight.

Mick Molloy last night was reading “The History of the CFC”
His bookmark was a Brown Paper Bag!!

What a ridiculous 50 against Solti.

Richmond's signature last year was playing about 20 minutes of scary Richmond footy but not being able to sustain it for a whole game. Blues are still a chance.

Has not had 1 contested posession !!outside frontrunner

Watching Fox Footy feed via Kayo and Nathan Jones is on commentary. Didn’t realize Jonesy was taking up a media career. Good luck to him! Refreshing to hear him and some of his comments. Pittonet hits the post from a metre out “that won’t do ruckman any good” 😆

To be fair that’s exactly what we would have got him for. He would have played wing.

Carlton look good.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • PREGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons are set to embark on a four-week road trip that takes them across the country, with two games in Adelaide and a clash on the Gold Coast, broken up by a mid-season bye. Next up is a meeting with the inconsistent Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
