No more comparisons Oliver vs Cripps please

Clarry does not get the recognition he deserves and is always instrumental in any of our comebacks

Cripps on the other hand was unsighted today when the heat was on

I wonder what injury the AFL love child has this week

Hawthorn has 70,000+ members and drew 15,000 to a game against West Coast (a bigger interstate side than most).

We've been insulted since the dawn of time for having supporters who aren't invested, don't know the players, etc. It grates me to no end that Hawthorn escapes those insults. Their membership figure is inflated, they have a smaller core of supporters than we do but the amount of people who signed up after the threepeat was off the charts.

Just glad we didn't have to play in that graveyard fixture.

Mothers Day. Travelling like a busted a#@e. Interstate opposition.

Welcome to the world we inhabited for so long. Only thing missing will be the predictable Caro piece banging on about our attendances.

I just saw the Ned McHenry crunch.

To be honest I have no sympathy for the guy. I recall last year that at every opportunity behind play he was trying to snipe Gawn and was legit punching him when Gawn wasn't even watching or 60m away from play.

Little thug got what he deserved.

What's wrong with Cripps?

He's been carrying an injury all year. I would exploit whatever it is if I was the Dees.

Has the club confirmed anything? Teague has always batted away the suggestion of him carrying an injury when I’ve heard him.

It seems for a long time that Cripps’ poor performances have been attributed to a phantom injury that seemingly no one wants to acknowledge. The consistently elite player he was a couple of years ago is becoming a distant memory.

At this point I think he and Carlton should be parting ways. He was a passenger out there after halftime which is toxic for those around him. Let him go west, grab the pick while he still has value and use it on a top shelf mid that will be running around with Walsh and co in five years time.

Yeap, confirmed he has early onset arthritis in his neck from carry that tin pot, two bit, money laundering club since he was drafted.

Massive job for May next week.
Also I really hope that when we play the dogs May can give that absolute [censored] Josh Bruce a bath. For too long that man and his stupid hair has Kent Kingsley-ed our arses.

4 weeks in my books based on Nibblers precedent. Lycett is gone!

By the way, who was it that ran the length of the field to hit Max 50 metres off the ball last time we played PtA at the G?

Wasn't that the same dude - no 29 for PtA, Scott L.

If not, who was that gutless coward?

What needs to be taken into account was that it was Mother's Day. Being a 'family club' it seems they supported their club by taking Mum to that most family-oriented form of entertainment - the Pokies.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
