RedBlueandTrue 359 Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 One of the real good stories this season for mine - looked to be finished but reinvigorated himself and became one of our most reliable defenders 1 Quote
DeeZone 10,596 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 I have to agree with RBT I also thought that he may struggle but was pleasantly surprised by his strong come back in form. Really tough year for Hibbo, well done Michael. !!!! 2 Quote
Grr-owl 1,258 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Champ. Every time he goes near the ball I shout, 'Hibb-oh-oueh!' at the telly. 1 Quote
nosoupforme 3,085 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Great that Hibberd is playing in 2021 he is still a valuable piece in the backline where he can link and break the lines. He is as tough as they come and will make his opponent earn the ball. Has kicked goals on the run and is one who does take the game on. A real tough nut. 2 Quote
dl4e 5,851 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 I think he has been a standout player for us. A pity that Melksham can't say the same thing. A 1 year extension is probably right. 1 Quote
jnrmac 20,385 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 An extraordinarily tough year personally losing his brother and yet he played his best season for some time. He was back to the Hibbo we know and love. 2 Quote
poita 3,945 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Good on him for turning things around after a poor 2019 and start to 2020. His form in 2017 was brilliant, and this was the closest he has come to that level since. The 1 year extension was the correct call, and he may well get another one if he performs well this year. 1 Quote
Deeoldfart 8,205 Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Overcame horrible adversity and a significant form slump in 2019, to finish top 10 in the Bluey. An outstanding effort in the circumstances. Well done Hibbo! 1 Quote
