Cats dominated but missed easy shots.  Tough contest.  Rozee looks impressive.

If Chris Scott was a NBA coach he would have been sacked years ago, they don't rate coach's that get teams into play off but get knocked out early year after year.

Is it just my imagination, or does anyone else think that Ebert looks like Warren Entner from the Grass Roots (US pop group late 60s .... classic song "Midnight Confessions")  ?

OMG can’t believe the Felocentric umpiring.
Geelong gets all the soft ones, and Port can’t get a half chance.

Gotta keep them in it

How does Hawkins get away with blatantly pushing people in the back in the ruck in the forward line?

Port home now.

God I love Butters. He’s all class and has the right amount of mongrel and crash to go with the skills and pace. I’d trade anyone on our list for him outside Petracca and Oliver.

Does Chris Scott need a win to keep his job? His finals record isn’t great 7-11 (not including this game) when 3 of the 7 were his first year in charge back in 2011. So 4-11 in 9 years with one of the best teams over the decade.
He might want to escape with the aged lost also though

Pressure in the midfield

That’s what Goodwin wants, but we are nowhere near it after 4 seasons

Great Scott finals record.
Hawkins (0.5)  had he kicked straight instead of sulking could have made the difference.

We were in 2018. Problem back then (and still now) was consitancy in its application. But with the new game plan, that ferocious nature has all but disappeared.

  • NON-MFC: Round 04

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?
