How many WA players do we have that are over there? I hope they will be making the best use of it they can.

If we are serious about using the hubs to keep the players safe, then Darwin and Alice should be two hubs considering the virus has been pretty much eliminated here

Has it really?

Didn't realised that 100% of Territorians have been tested.

The testing figures are not necessarily a true reflection on who actually has it

Not necessarily, but up here they are due to the very small number of cases, all coming from overseas and having limited to no contact with others in community. No cases of community transmission here.

but hey, be a [censored] about it

Weren't the territory govt (and federal) concerned about keeping the virus out of vulnerable communities. Very tight control imposed to ensure safety.

Still are, we have police and military manned checkpoints in and out of Alice, without the right paperwork you can’t get through.

Had Uluru to myself last Friday, was amazing!

Military armed? Some states and territories are really ensuring Collingwood supporters are kept out.

Seriously, it is really necessary to keep indigenous communities free of another disease for which they have no resistance. Keep up the security.

Yes, that's why a NT hub is highly unlikely

On no pay I hope.

A wonderfully cerebral article from the Guardian....

The peak-end rule is a heuristic method whereby people judge an experience on how they felt at its peak and at its end, rather than some amalgam of the whole. Consequently, with the right spin, we may find ourselves so overjoyed at the return of sporting endeavour that it warps our perception of what preceded it.

how dumb and dumber can you get......broadcasting it all over social media......some people never learn

Don’t worry the league boys still have them covered. The Cleary story unfolding today has been hilariously stupid.

No, military not armed, police and feds are to differing degrees.

If it gets into communities, the death rate will be world news.

that said, with precautions in place, anyone with a clue of this part of the world could see that it is an ideal location for an AFL hub, they could start this weekend provided broadcasters staff also go into hub!

Sounds more like financial advice rather than medical advice.

Too many people taking the can't do stance in the AFL world. Need more of the old Jeff Kennett. can do attitude.
