I’ll settle for all Australian and a Norm Smith

Can anyone make out what Trac is saying in the last tweet above? Sounds like softer.

Today was the first time I have seen Austin Bradtke  play in a match simulation.

I though he acquitted himself quite well, didn't look lost, in one passage he made a lead to a forward flank and spun around to deliver the ball to Bayley Fritsch at the top of the goal square and that was of course in appalling conditions.

Great report on Bradtke? Do you have reports on other newbies and Trac?

It is in response to the experts on here who still think it's ten years ago for rehab

Speaking to Misso, Crossy, Alex S and the players, I get a better understanding of the situation

My only concern at the moment is Jones

Lever would like to be a go Rd1, but don't think he will be allowed to

Saty, can you please provide an update on Melksham?

Is he any danger to miss round 1?

Last time I saw him train, he was running laps at a decent clip, he is a valuable player, so assume because he has had a couple of hamstring issues, they have done a complete check, ie back related etc, to ensure no repeat during the season

Last time I spoke to him he was confident it was just a blip,  but they always are, next week or so should be a true picture

I understand that coaches just before pre-season finishes may say that the injury is merely incidental or that player x has fully recovered. I am never surprised when the player misses 426 at sometime during or at the start of the year. Then the coach will be interviewed. That interview inevitably starts off with "You have to understand the large amount of pre-season player x was incapable of attending". So I get that you are just going on what they are saying. Im just not as trusting.

Lever said to me when he was up at sunny Maroochydore that he should be right to go hopefully by round 3-5 and is still 4 was away from joining main training group.

Think he has been told Rd 3 or 5

You guys are acting like 5 year old girls! How about just shutting up for a while and allowing the Demonlanders providing valuable information the chance to have a say.

I'm only a newcomer to this great site and I can tell you that there are definitely two halves to the communication that goes on here........the fantastic training reports and insights into who is doing what on the training track.....then there is you guys - the purile few that seem to be doing everything you can to torpedo this site with your immature and self serving barbs and retorts.

Just give it a rest!

We all love this footy club.....how about concentrating on that!

So.....it looks like those guys have been edited out......good work whoever did that!

Trac and girlfriend were at Vic Park watching Demons AFLW team.

One segment that naturally came into focus was Binman’s Stats Files. Not because it isn’t important; quite the opposite. It’s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
