No KP players in that lot above....

Don't think you can qualify as a steal until you have played at least 100 games so the jury is still out on ANB, VDB and Hunt.

Darren Jolly & Stef Martin were very low picks unfortunately we were not smart enough to realise their potential ditto Nathan Basset.

Jeremy Howe another one.

Both had great careers, just not at melbourne. Jolly couldn't get minutes because Daniher loved Jeff White. Stef had some training commitment issues as I understand it. Todd V and he didn't see eye to eye in more ways than one...

Pick 53

It's funny how it works out. Messed up our attempt at a key forward with pick 12 then got an absolute gun key forward at pick 53.

There is a fair few very good players above, but I would have had Wheels and Leoncelli right up the top of that list.  Two absolute legends of the MFC.  More than just notable.

Yes missed that one. Would be a very short list of those who pegged TMac for a key fwd.....

Except the club. That's exactly what he was drafted for. The irony was he was like a puppy all paws and all over the shop. By the time he 'developed' he was holding down/ or up ...the backline ....until.... someone thought to TRY him as a fwd. Inspired !! ;)

Whelan and Jetta. Two absolute guns recruited in the 50 bracket.
