Who would MFC take if given a top 10 pick in 2018 Draft (via Hogan trade)?

Shiel is a bit suspect, his footskills are hit and miss.

Very similar to Tyson but with more explosion away from the stoppage IMO.

Would rather load up on Kelly either this year or next year via FA

Then we could look at Whitfield/Kelly or similar. Just a suggestion to look at what could happen should we be proactive.

9- Luke Valente

10- Sydney Stack

Hogan is worth

2 top 10 picks or

one top 10 plus a very good player (Ed Langdon)

but Hogan is contracted and should stay for 2019

Not sure where you got the list from but I'm assuming you have not seen Connor Rozee play?

The kid is a gun (outside run with skills) and who be a perfect fit for the team

I don't think May is worth a top 10 pick + player. I don't even think May is worth a top 10 pick.

Purely a trade scenario, a pick alone may be enough, with regards to what pick I’ll leave that up to the FD.

We are in for an aggressive trade period, really exciting.

It is exciting, several weeks ago we a realistic chance of not making finals and no first round pick. The emergence of a couple of players and the team evolving as a whole has flipped that on its head.

Yep, the list is getting cleared and looks like some good ones coming our way.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
