Just get him in the rooms pre match. He would not even need to speak,  his presence alone would lift this group!

He is an inspiration. I think of him Paul Roos & Barassi as living icons of our club. RIP Jimmy  & Robbie Flower.

If only there were more men in the world like him, a true gentlemen and inspiration :)

Hope we can do it for him. Would love to get him in the rooms beforehand. Not just a football figure, a life figure.

If Collingwood beat WC then we would play every game at the G.

But let’s beat Geelong first...

& then the hawks or tigers next week

Yes let’s just focus on our next game.

if we lift our heads too high and look forward there is only blue sky

so do what Casey did. I would settle for 19 points not 91 are hell 1.9 points

go dees

Some of this talk reminds me of Queen's Birthday this year. Everyone was willing to proclaim us the next big thing, we embraced the hype (and drank the bathwater) and proceeded to get pantsed.

Let's start setting our sights higher if we beat Geelong first shall we? Even if we win that, we are only through to the next week.

Correct, I feel I’m not qualified to respond - except, Go Dees this weekend!!!

Neale talking to the lads.  Sad to watch but great that he is part of this campaign.

His basic message:  Actions speak louder than words.

I like that he calls on the boys to go another notch;  they know they have another notch.

VERY VERY SPECIAL!!

The boys should feel privileged that the great man still takes the time and effort to continue giving to the Club.  What a super inspiration!

Well done, Neale!!

Neale highlights, that for him, home is where the heart is.

  • GAMEDAY: Western Bulldogs

It's Game Day and the Demons will be running out on the field with a new Head Coach, albeit a caretaker, for the first time in 3,060 days when they face the Western Bulldogs at the MCG today. What do you want to see from the Demons in the first match of the Post Simon Goodwin era?

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.
