Looks like all the tickets are sold. Hoping to hear from Ticketek about universal access seats but checked online just in case. Couldn't even get one ticket on the site. Says no tickets match your search...

Thanks Sparkledemon. I have submitted the application; now just waiting to see if they call me. I did check this morning to make sure they call me not the other way around. Wait and see I guess....

Someone buy my tickets plz.

General admin tickets have been on sale for 40minutes, Tim Gossage on SEN mentioned that there are only single seats left & that the event is almost sold out already.

I have purchased a ticket but can't attend the game. Section 105 Row 16, Melbourne Cheersquad Section.

Anyone who wants to go to the game and can get there feel welcome to PM me, I will happily sell you the ticket at cost just to get a fellow demon into the game! Go Dees!

First post on here (long time poster over on the other side at BF..) but thought I’d post here to see if anyone’s got a spare seat close to the front in 105/106/107 with or around the cheersquad?

Massive fan of getting stuck into oppo players etc, and right now my ticket is in 106 row 18. Nothing wrong with that, but would love to be closer.

Going over on my own, so if anyone has a spare seat close to the fence I could buy, please let me know! (If it helps verify my Demon-commitment, I was that nuffie on ch7/AFL doing the somewhat aggressive crocodile clap at Gunston getting beaten to the line by Hibberd)

- if someone can help me out, happy to sell me ticket at face value to anyone else.

cheers and go dees!

ps: anyone flying over on VA677 Saturday morning at 7:15am?

So far have shared barcodes twice, and everything has been fine. Really happy to help fellow Demons in Perth too, as well as family. Being in Rome this finals season is way too frustrating though.

360 just said 2,600 Dees members will be attending... if only flights were reasonable it would have been more.

I just bought flights to Perth (without tickets to the game!) If anyone has a spare/knows how I can get a ticket, that would be amazing! Please let me know :)

I have 2 for sale. Would prefer to sell together though.

Seems awfully low doesn’t it? Wouldn’t we have maybe 1000 supporters living in Perth alone?

I chased it up as far as I could at the airline I work for, but unfortunately, how airlines make money is that every available aircraft works flat out as it is, which makes sense.

Luckily they have put on a few extra flights, but with the relatively short notice, their options were pretty limited. (Airlines cop massive fines for deliberately cancelling scheduled flights).

There probably are that many supporters over here. The problem is, as I discovered yesterday, that armchair memberships don't allow you to buy tickets during the member period.:(  I was very lucky to get tickets in the General Public sale but not sure if I'm with other Dees fans...

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
