Completely agree. It's not even that we aren't playing finals. Why during the game does Goodwin not throw the magnets around and swap Tmac and May? Does he not understand that you have to kick a higher score than the opposition to win? Tmac is a complete and utter liability up forward. Best game of the year for him was against Richmond when he played down back. Throw the bloody magnets around during the game Goodwin and stop being so passive! It's infuriating!

It's time to anoint him as our captain. He's the only one who tries week in week out and leads from the front.

Enough is enough with Tmac. There’s only so many opportunities you can give someone. Time for Goodwin to at least pretend like he’s making a statement at the selection table. Drop him until he kicks 5 goals a week and his form demands him to be picked again. The missed shot for goal in the last quarter says it all.

I'm still in disbelief. Cannot fathom the fact that we actually beat those drug cheating scums. That whole passage of play to set up the Salem goal was incredible. Roosy said it was the best passage of play for the entire year, and I'd have to agree. Can't wipe the smile off my face. GO DEES!

Dear Demonland, As both Melbourne and AFL supporters, we all find ourselves outraged at the viney decision on a basic level, yet as the decision was handed down to one of our own, we attach added anger. We thus find ourselves in a very unique position. As an avid supporter of both the AFL and Melbourne FC, I refuse to stand idle and watch the game that I love so dearly whittle away to nothing. The entire football public will be watching us on Saturday night, not only because it's the only AFL game on in the country, but because they will all be curious to see how we as a football club react to the decision, both on the ground and in the stands. And this brings me to the point of this thread. We must stage some sort of protest within the stands to truly show the AFL hierarchy how much of a joke this decision is. There is only so much social media can portray, if people see with their own eyes how outraged people are, maybe, just maybe, something will change. I can't really think of anything that symbolic to do, but I open the forum to suggestions, and hopefully we can think of an ingenious mode of protest. Let's get creative!

The state of our club is exemplified by the fact that Joel Macdonald keeps getting a game. The moron can't kick the ball to a stationary target 20 meters away in the heart of our backline. Disgrace.

Chris Dawes is exactly the player that we need. He presented all night, crashed every pack, tackled ferociously, and threw his body at the ball and player at every opportunity...and kicked three goals. He is exactly the player that we need. We should be doing everything in our power to get him.
