As a first post no less. Doubled down by creating a thread with an inflammatory title.

Classic troll behaviour - though as often seems to be the case lazy. i mean if you are going to do it, build up some credibilty with a solid bank of good posts,  then drop your little wet fart.

This thread is disgraceful, unrespectful [censored] first post, do haters just wait for a few things to go wrong? So they can be a troll, Jones has been through a lot of dark times, always giving his all he never stops running, throws himself around, always does the team thing, never drops his head, get lost troll, I wish I can meet  all you trolls to tell you to f off.

I think i made you angry haha

But seriously whats a troll and why am i a troll?

Do you think im some supporter from another club trying to stir up [censored] or i just typed all that as some kind of joke?

Did you read what i wrote? Im not disputing what he does on the field with his own game or saying he hasnt given his all for the club. Someone on here said if the other 21 players gave as much as he did then there wouldnt be a problem and thats my point. He drives himself to get the best out of himself but doesnt get anything out of the rest of HIS team that he is THE captain of.

We were all expecting finals this year and we are now 14th with 2 wins after 5 rounds.

I know! It must be because we have an incompetent coach who doesnt have a game plan. He just tells the players to kick it to someone else in the red and blue colours and try to kick between the big sticks. He literally hasnt even thought up a game plan at all. He must be sacked immediately and replaced with someone who we put all our faith in. Someone who knows that an afl team needs a game plan and knows how to develop one maybe? Then we can call for his head again next year when we realise he actually doesnt have a game plan like the last however many coaches weve had in the last 10 years. He was just pretending to know what he was doing.

The players are lost. It doesnt matter what the game plan is or who the coach is. They fumble, they make mistakes and theyre scared. Its the same thing year after year, coach after coach, gameplan after gameplan (or no gameplan). Even with different players! They need a captain who keeps their heads in the right place, who guides and advises them, someone who they respect and listen to. They are not listening to Jones. He is not getting through to them.

Whenever a coach is under the pump or gets sacked all you hear is that footy is a cut throat business, heads have to roll etc. Yeah well weve rolled enough coaches. Time to look at our captain. Maybe like that other teams supporters did recently with their captain. Who was it? Richmond with Cotchin? Do you think maybe the calls from the supporters for him to be dropped as captain might have driven him to improve as a captain? Not that theyre a successful club anyway.

Not us though. Not melbourne supporters going against our saviour in Jones. We will just [censored] foot around, sack the coach and be cellar dwellers for eternity.

    TRAINING: Wednesday 19th February 2025

Demonlander The Analyser was the sole Trackwatcher out at Casey Fields today to bring you the following observations from this mornings preseason training session. Training  was at Casey today. It consisted of a match simulation for one half  and then a free choice activity time. Activities included kicking for goal,  aerial , contest work etc. I noticed the following players not in match simulation Jack Viney  running laps and looks fine for round one . I think Kolt looks like he’s im

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
