Probably in the minority, but I still love the Schwab-designed "shield" logo the most of all the above.

I agree with you. Oozes class.

This goes off topic a bit, but I wouldn't mind seeing retro heroes being put on tee-shirt lines. The gawn and Jones nerd tees were a hot commodity last season. Would love a flower, stynes, barassi and Lyon tee to be created.

I saw one of these at Family Day, asked the guy where he got it from and ordered the next day!

Both of my daughters (and my sister) got Demons pjs a couple of Christmases ago. Not retro but they love them

Mine were from the 80’s they were awesome, even though I don’t wear pjs anymore. I bet they look real cute.

The recipients liked them so that's the main thing. The Demon shop is a blessing for the unimaginative father

Don’t be modest. I loved mine as a child. Wish I still had them, but gave away to St Vinnies a few years ago. I spent many a pocket money in the stands buying Demons gear. The things we bought would make you laugh.

My kids all had Dees pjs

They had Schwab’s logo all over them at weird angles everywhere

Mine were old school. Was hard throwing them out, but since I haven’t worn pjs in ages, they had to go. Hopefully some brainwashed kid is wearing them now ?

I like how they’ve resuscitated the black and white Demon from the 80’s on retro gear as I grew up with it. I would like to also see the Demon logo from 1989-1994 on some retro stuff they release this year. That was a superb logo and I don’t think we gave it enough chance. My brother had a flag of it and it was amazing flying it at games. I was never a fan of the ‘clean shaven’ demon logo from 1996-2007 and frankly I think we held on to it too long. The next was was ok, but not given a chance and soon discarded. What does everyone else think?

Hey Cassiew.

If THEY want to make a retro jumper for fans to buy and wear.   Why not something along these lines.

image.png.dc17cd129c8731d506c182b7f37d40cc.png

Maybe some 'slight' adjustment, to the colours, but only slight.

So a lace up Jumper to wear to warm games,,, and also in a Vest form to wear over other clothing and under that plaid jacket.  ^_^

Reversible clothing, dress down on one side, & dress up a little on the other side with pull up collar.

The old man brought me this flag the year before I was born, bringing it Sun so my 5yr old can have a swing with it.

Awesome, think my favourite is the 1995 version. Love that we're now back at something pretty minimal. 2008 was a stain on our existence.

My younger brother had that as a mobile in his room. Lot of happy memories of that twirling over us when we had to sleep in the same room

I remember taking it VFL Park with my grandad all the time (the mad old bugger would drive from Apollo Bay, pick me up in Geelong and drive to Waverley Park to watch games, I'd take my flag no matter who was playing), taking to Kardinia Park. The best and worst 2 were Western Oval last rnd in 87 and Waverley Prelim 87.....

This is one of my all time favs by Weg.

There's another i think where a similar Demon is running like this but he's stabbed the footy and it's on the end of his trident.

As to why we've abandoned the Demon as part of our marketing and general logo beggars belief.

We now have a Checker Hughes medal and Tracc wins the first of them yet the legend who came up with the Demon brand / name would probably be perplexed today if he went looking for any reference in our club material / jumpers / scarfs / website etc.

Sorry to bring this back, but did anyone notice the cuff links in the demon store today? It finally had the old 1989-1994 logo on it that I’ve wanted for so long (along with the others.) Of course being female, they’re completely useless to me, but they’ll make a nice Father’s Day gift.
Hopefully to do some more retro gear from this era.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
