Watch out I don't play fair. I bite like Chris Lewis and punch like Alex Rance.

I think the topic should be are we loading our players, tapering is the end result.  You load up you program and then taper off to get the full positive effects.

I don't think we have, I think we have just come to the end of our season.  We play high intensity football, not the most naturally talented side we have to work hard to win games.  I think our players are done and will be surprised if we win 1 of our last 3. I hope I'm proven wrong but since the first half V Port, which Is the best half we have played for a long time, we have been flat.

Just about sums it up Dr.

I suspect your diagnosis is correct. From what I have observed I will not be seeking a second opinion.

I'm not sure if our ability to convince ourselves about literally any bollocks in order to see the upside is my favourite or least favourite thing about Demonland.

For the record I don't think we are, but I was wondering whether it could be a reason why we have dropped off so dramatically.

We have to win 7 straight to win the flag....7. Just saying.

So, if every match was genuinely a 50/50 contest, we'd be a 1 in 128 chance to win the Grand Final.

Best odds for this time of year in over a decade.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
