Congratulations Jordan Lewis

Congratulations to Jordan Lewis and his partner Lucy on expecting twins.

Welcome to the multiples club, chap. Just saw him on 360 break the news (just after a segment where he made comment on off-field distraction). I recognised that look behind his eyes and the timbre of his voice as he uttered the words! He and Lucy will be under the pump, but worth every second. Let's hope he gets enough sleep to be able to function on game day!

Pity his sons or daughters will have father/insert sex selection at Hawthorn. I guess my girls will have to be the next great twin MFC players (after the Febey brothers) in the AFLW in or around 2035.

Any other multiple parents here on DLand?

I definitely have no children and barely any family at all. This excludes me from suspicion as the JKH letter-bandit because the author of such referred to shielding his/her family from the pain of it all. The reason I have no off-spring is that I couldn't possibly philosophically justify passing on such as burden as I undoubtedly would. But looking forward to the Deemented girls in the AFLW red and blue in years to come.

Ha, tough times mate.

Mine are still young enough for brain washing. We have red and blue as our favourite colours and they can say 'go demons' and 'daddy's watching football'.

So far, so good.

Yep, identical twin girls. Although only 7, they're both fanatical Dees supporters. Brainwashed early ... first song I taught them was Its a Grand Old Flag ?

Only 96 games left Jordan!

make it happen!

Have three, two girls and a younger boy. Girls know the drill and are Dee fans, the brainwashing has commenced with the two year old lad, but living in the West there's a fair amount of Bulldogs sway around town and he loves listening to the Dogs theme song a bit more than the Dees.

I have a bit of work to do!

He'll hear a lot more of the Dees song in coming years...

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
