I'm tipping Nasher has a deep, sweet and, soothing Barry White-like voice.

I won't be able to get enough of it.

Can I go for a Ween "Push the little daisys" voice?

Remember, everyone is cooler on the internet.

It's been a great run of podcast guests...it had to end at some stage though.

I couldn't organise anything this week as I was interstate and had other commitments. The guests will return and Nasher is like Demonland royalty. He runs on a hamsters wheel post match to keep this site above water.

When I was a teenager, 16 or 17, I got told by someone in an online game that I sounded like a 12 year old. This will be the first time I've put my voice up for strangers to hear since!

I'm hoping for something roughly in between 12 year old and Barry White.

It's like what they say about meeting your heroes, I'm not sure I'm mentally prepared for this.

If Nash gives you a shout out on the air, you will be too giddy to care what he sounds like.

Nasher will also be taking your tech support questions so please have your computer or device handy/nearby and don't forget to have switched them off and on before we begin to save time.

Totally random but I'm keen to finally hear what Nasher sounds like as I share a nickname from my youth with him and would have registered at DL with it if it weren't for Nasher :P

Haha, you're welcome to it if you want, though that could get a bit confusing to Demonlanders who have been around a bit. I can't even remember the origin of it other than I started using it once when trying to go 'incognito' in other games and forums I was part of and ended up using it for everything. It has no relevance to my real life at all.

Haha I couldn't do that! This was about 10 years ago as well. I've been a very on/off DLer! Looking forward to the pod!

Ok. Thanks for that. Now I have one less question to ask you. No one ask him if he has two heads, married his cousin, or is descended from a convict.

I always assumed all three were a given.

Can you please ask Mark if he feels stained or scarred for life by having to put an Essendon jumper on?

We'll just crank up the time machine and ask him that McQueen.

Clearly I'm in need of sleep.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
