Oh we're hiding it all here now ? ?

Saty will be happy

Maybe we should start another thread in the footy forum.

Moved to this “board”?

Incredible how little fanfare Fitzy story has generated so far.

I hope Ess never come out of this whole.

Kind of feel sorry for any victim of this sort of crime.  When a massive majority of this sort of act is completed by drug addicts, it shows just what a sorry state of affairs this world is in at the moment...

Bet that's the last time he'll let Mark Thompson sleep on the couch.

Funny how those most able to do something blame some else-

A few weeks ago Hird blamed Ess for lack of support

Thompson blames Evans for not stopping it all

Now Jobe blames Ess - says the club were negligent, which is true.  https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/watson-whacks-bombers-over-supplements-saga-20180523-p4zh2f.html

The more people that were involved go back over it (incl Fitzpatrick, Crameri recently) the more likely the truth will trickle out, especially when someone starts defending their patch.

Only takes one source to find and then leak the lost documents. Who will it be?

The AFL has lost the hearing to just have failed in their attempt to just have a 'preliminary hearing' (mini trial).  It means that McLachlan and Fitzpatrick end up facing trial and could end up giving evidence in court.

They may finally learn that the AFL is not a law unto itself.

But the cynic in me thinks they will wheel and deal their way out of it.

This has all the potential to lift to a whole new level of interesting.

Nfi why essendon would want to bring this all up.

Demetriou is just gonna say "i knew it was them and i rang them to stop them getting in [censored]"

And theyll just say the doping program was huge and they should have been rubbed out as a club for 2 years so really we saved your asses and everyone will laugh and essendon

Very, very damning of the anti-ageing doctor at the heart of this saga.

https://www.theage.com.au/national/victoria/essendon-saga-doctor-acted-at-highest-end-of-unprofessional-conduct-20180705-p4zpry.html

VCAT found “... Dr Willcourt’s conduct to be at the ‘highest end’ of unprofessional conduct,”.  Yet, the penalty was just $7,000!

And VCAT rejected the Medical Board's bid "... to force Dr Willcourt to undertake education and be required to practice under supervision."

Should have been banned!!  Instrumental in damaging the lives of 34 young men.

Noticed that training inside now in tracksuits and tops with sleeves, must get pretty hot out TWSNBN land....

In 1998 Dr Willcourt was convicted in the US of "lewd and dissolute" conduct after exposing himself to a police officer in Nevada.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?

  • FEATURE: 1925

A hundred years ago today, on 2 May 1925, Melbourne kicked off the new season with a 47 point victory over St Kilda to take top place on the VFL ladder after the opening round of the new season.  Top place was a relatively unknown position for the team then known as the “Fuchsias.” They had finished last in 1923 and rose by only one place in the following year although the final home and away round heralded a promise of things to come when they surprised the eventual premiers Essendon. That victory set the stage for more improvement and it came rapidly. In this series, I will tell the story of how the 1925 season unfolded for the Melbourne Football Club and how it made the VFL finals for the first time in a decade on the way to the ultimate triumph a year later.
