Liking Hunt. I was OK that Michie got the call up, but 3 possessions in a half of footy?

ANB must be rolling in his grave, if he was in fact dead.

So people are writing of Tracca after 2 games?

Really?

He is obviously trying too hard and needs to settle down, which comes with time.

Petracca looks no where near fit enough to be playing at this level, shouldn't have come in so early

He's fit enough. The concern I have with Christian is that he may be too much of a confidence player. Hope I'm wrong and he burns it up in the second half.

I know I will get howled down becuase I have written on this forum for a long time now, but I'm struggling to get excited by Petracca.

Oliver has had less of the ball but I feel like he has had a far greater impact on the game and Petracca reminds me a little bit of Tapscott in that he seems to lack sideways agility.

I personally think Tracks biggest problem is he is trying to do way to much.

I think the run he's provided has been fantastic. The fact he's managed to ensure his opponent hasn't got it a lot is great. I just hope he can play four quarters.

To provide 'run', you also need to have the footy.  He hasn't done that yet.  Just 3 touches suggests that he might be running, but it's to the wrong places.

So the better we get, the better he gets?

I could live with that.

*the most frustrating team in the AFL to watch, nearly impossible in fact.

*the easiest team to score against in the AFL, we just gift the opposition uncontested goals.

*the most inefficient ball users in the AFL, our clangers and fumbles are absolute game killers.

It shouldn't be the case, but because of those last two things, and even though the Suns are two players down, I just can't see us winning it from here. We're just too easy to exploit, and too ready to give the ball away.

Completely agree. We shouldn't lose it with the Suns having two players down, but we'll find a way. Our decision making and disposal is still shocking. Our mids are also not getting enough of it. They're not working hard enough the other way either.

Well he seems to be able to find a team mate every time he gets it, unlike several others.

I think so too PG.

Could someone tell Kennedy to stop playing on, when we have a free kick close to goal. He nearly cost us Jones' goal and that was his third play on.

He has lost form since earlier in the year.

I noticed that too.

He's had 10 touches and he's burst off half back two or three times.

I was talking about Michie, not Hunt.  Go back and have a look.

But I agree, Hunt has been very good off half back.

Toumtracca's issue isnt lack of confidence. Its too much.

Ah. Cross purpose. Yeah, sorry. I haven't seen Michie much. I was saying I'm liking Hunt's game.

Is it?  I would have thought our disposal and turnovers in the middle of the ground have hurt us more than anything, which has allowed them some easy goals.

As I type that its half time - we are in front and that's something.  We need to kick on from here.

Look at who has messed it up, though. McDonald, Wagner, Garland have all made major errors across half-back that have directly led to goals. Throw in Tmac's ballerina float across the pack only for Lynch to crumb and kick an easy goal, and there's 4 of their 8. Our errors by the back half players have hurt us the most.

I noticed Pedersons forward pressure went down towards the end of that quarter, just after he had a run in the ruck, probably a bit tired. I don't think we're missing frost, but he does sometimes get on his bike and present on the wing a bit more then what Pederson is tonight. Watts has been solid but not great. Just there and I think this is Watt's base now which is great compared to previous years bases.

Its hard to tell on the tele but it seems we are setting up slightly different when the ball is in dispute in a contest, we have one player a bit further out for the long handpass out to shut it down. hasn't worked every time but has slowed them down.

Worst game Viney has played for a while. Has he had an effective disposal yet?
