If the Saints don't improve out of the middle this could get ugly, Jesse has started well and he looks like getting great supply all day

Fcuk you AFL

This fixture is a disgrace. Why are the Aints getting 2 home games?

Because that is what it is

Gill you are just another CEO turd...

Don't hold back

tell us you really think

Pressure is great around the ground by the Dees...

Gawn is destroying it in the ruck...

Game is being played at a quick pace early...

Jack Steven is a pest as usual...

Hogan in everything....

Watts marks ball 30 out on a slight angle after a quick defensive transition by the Prince...

Misses it right... Unusual from Watts...

14-6

Riewoldt kicks one after quick movement by the Aints out of the backline...

Coast to Coast....

14-12

We look vulnerable once they get free in the middle

We need to make the most of our opportunists going forward because they are cutting us up in the fast break. Good intensity but need to tighten up and make the most of those shots!

Riewoldt misses a pretty easy snap from 15 metres out...

We are getting burnt when they get it in space...

We need to tighten up defensively. They're well in control with ball movement at the moment.

Riewoldt kills us every time and it looks like we arent even playing anyone on him

Geary with an uncontested mark in attack...

Misses an easy one...

Dees need to concentrate on not letting them get away on the fast break...

Would it actually hurt Tom McDonald for once just stay on Nick Riewoldt instead of zoning up.

Dunn gives away 50 to Riewoldt...

Tackling after he marked it...

On the wing now...

Pumps it into the 50....Dunn gives a free down field after he kicks it...

Bruce with a shot...

Across the face...

Behind Saints...

Bit of ill discipline from Dunn there...

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
