GAMEDAY - Round 5

I feel like it's going to be a really tight contest. Whoever wins will win by a small margin.

That kick from lamumba was insane

The umpiring is as bad as i have ever seen, giving us an absolute bath so far

McDonald has been massive for us, but his disposal is always scary.

Lotta feeling out there...

our skills this qtr has been horrific

Where as North are the experts at ducking, Richmond specialise in throwing the head back in a tackle trying to get a free.

talking of frees, disgraceful miss by the umpire and yet another throw leads to an opposition goal.

pricks

I've been saying for a while when a player does this, smash them, they will stop it pretty quickly.

Great to have Garlett back!!

Dumb mistakes, lucky to be in front.

Wrong. Dumb mistakes means Richmond is lucky to be so close.

That is why i made my thread that got shot down, Salem is a good player, not a good defender and he gets found out way to often.

I should stop following the scores. We seemed to have done better when I wasn't watching.

Sounds like we are killing ourselves.

Don't wants leave the couch for a froff.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
