Head in the sand approach does nothing but create s false reality for yourself.

The reality is, if we don't offer this kid what he he is worth, and look like we are gonna play finals then he will walk.

That's the reality of it unfortunately. He has the footy world at his feet and will demand a huge contract when this expires. If we're not pushing as a finals prospect and the WA teams are still going well there's every chance he'll come back home.

We must improve dramatically next year.

At least we will get plenty back in return.

He brought me a drink at the corner of Collins and Queen and did not take blonde biddy I was chatting with away from me, when he very easily could of, but rather suggested that she have a splendid time with me.

He is bandy legged and has baggy shorts.

Scary young man. You can only see him having more authority and becoming more aggressive as he gets older. Like a Plugger Lockett. Transitioned over the years from a handsome talented youngster to a physical brute of a man.

The timing and way he uses his body in one-on-ones. He's years ahead in this area alone.

Yes this is my concern everytime we lose to teams like Essendon and Stkilda, I just think this guy is gonna get sick of this pretty quickly. However when we have wins like Collingwood, Geelong and Richmond then it makes it extra good watching him and the team walk off.......

I'm well aware of what the reality is.

The thread is about what you like about Hogan. Are you saying you like that he's possibly disloyal?

My lord, i can't believe i am actually having to explain this to someone. Here, this will explain WHY i posted that seemingly non-contextual photo of Jesse Hogan wearing Fremantle gear, in a 'praise Jesse' thread:

He is a team player and does the team thing. His defensive pressure is good and he competes, chases and will give the ball off if required. He also knows when to take a shot and does not do the silly short pass to someone closer risking a turnover. He looks like a hard tough kid who looks a lot older than he is. It reminds me of my days as a junior footballer, when at the start of the match you would see an ugly tough kid coming toward you and realize that it was going to be a tough day. As to Hogan going home, well it may happen but as the old saying goes if you worry about the future you cannot enjoy the present

why did he have to suggest that to her? Was she begging to leave with him?

Yeh he brought us both a drink, he didn't have to suggest and could have easily got away with a robbery but he was kind enough to suggest that I was a good guy haha!

I think he was already onto a winner for the night possibly.,.

Boring story but a reasonable guy.

Where did he bring the drink from?

yeh, good one!! (Genuine no sarcasm, I actually laughed)

You mean you didn't offer your girlfriend to him?? Are you crazy?

He could have my past 5 girlfriends.....

He certainly isn't built like a brick shithouse and that is what is so scary.

He is already very strong in the one on one's - imagine a couple more preseasons - lordy lordy...

He built a tunnel out of the prison camp - spent more time out of the camp than he did in it - pure genius.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
