Nothing's close to Romsey!

Fairfeild infectious diseases hospital has shut down.

Time to re brand the town!

Or,.... is worthy to be close!

Town pride.

The last refuge of the Snowtonians.

Day off tomorrow. Think I might pop into training. Boringly on topic I know....

Can you do something for us all?

Interview Saty!

Report back with the great mans movements and please indicate how many players he managed to hurt when talking to them

To Dear BBO and Mates,

Leave this Footy Forum for those that want to discuss the MFC and Footy. Trying to sound more intelligent than you actually are makes you look like even more of a LOSER. Yeah, I know, my intellect is low bla bla.

Kind Regards,

Sambo (and every other genuine MFC Supporter).

26 and sunny again in Perth...really starting to give me the shits! :)

Looking forward to the training reports.

Apologies for my ignorance, when would the new recruits start training?

One of the reasons Moved to Perth mate.

Guys, there was some video on this mornings news showing Petracca struggling big time doing some running drills.

Was this just because he had been really putting in and was stuffed, a 'welcome to the big league training' moment or he's not up to this level?

Didn't look good on TV.

Anything to be concerned about?

Only the natural pessimism associated with being a long term Dee fan.........nothing else.

Keep the faith.

Sambo, please indulge me and define a genuine MFC supporter.

It said "Dear BBO and Mates", I don't think he was referring to you.

I would have said you're only human, but you're not.

I'm actually waiting to hear a definition of a genuine support also.

A jockstrap. (However, for your tiny pink ears only sweet - it is a heavy duty jockstrap)

Heavy duty to help support the elephantitis?

BBO I must remind you that the Master will not be pleased!

Maybe you could go away and start your own forum where you rule and others follow. Until then, you are simply behaving in the same rude manner you accuse others of.

Sambo it is the off season. I mean every footy related post from now to late March is absolute conjecture, fantasy thinking, hope, whatever you want it to be. Until we actually play a few games next year we are guessing about Hogan and co. So do you now understand why topics might go off course at this time?

Sambo, please indulge me and define a genuine MFC supporter.

BBO, indulgence is not my Forte. Work it out for yourself.

You cut me to the quick sweet! I still love you though!

OK!! This is not quite right. Stuff like this is illegal in some States.

Sambo , You signed off your criticism of me on behalf of "every other genuine MFC Supporter". I don't think it unreasonable of me to request further details. Your inability to provide a reasoned response, confirms your obvious lack of ability to rationally discuss, debate or support your claims. You are a minnow and I suggest you go and find some suitable colouring books.

BBO I must remind you that the Master will not be pleased!

The master and I will discuss it down South. However, my Lord, I thank you for your reminders of proper protocol.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
