Uh uh. I know what you're thinking. "Is he going to make six trades or five?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself.

We traded pick 61 for Jeff Garlett at some point.

Geez, never thought I'd long for the days of trades like pick 59 for Viv Michie.

I guess we only technically had 3 trades last year. Cross and Riley were freebies.

By "actual potential", what exactly are you after here? It's full of potential........... But just BS instead of the actual part.

Given there was only 28 trades total amongst 18 clubs last year, means we were big players!

The Michael Jackson trade has hit a bit of a hurdle but I've been told Adele is considering our offer.

That's us. There must be more than a few million posts on Demonland and still no premiership.

Good footwork, but that long term dead injury he has will probably lower his stocks.

Love this thread, so much entertainment whilst waiting for something to happen. ( or nothing to happen). Still if nothing happens we will have picks 2,3 and 12 to discuss all the way up to draft day. Won't that be entertaining stuff!!

Oh well, Dayne Beams is out of the picture, Tony Sheahan saying the Bris deal is done.

So who were those posters who said he's coming?

It's good that Collingwood have agreed and he can now spend time with his dad and family.

Good luck.

The posters who thought he was coming to the MFC are what we call 'morons'

he was never coming to Demons, or any other Vic club

Not that I thought it either, but can you link a post of yours stating the same before the fact?

Ok my guess regarding one of the players from the riddles:

“As I said a massive game of chess. The end results are far certain.

Our likely trade partner comes in black and white but is not a little bird.” - GNF

As mentioned by some, a Swan which is a big bird that can come in either Black or White.

These three posts below were liked by GNF, suggesting a trade with Sydney (relates well the their COLA sactions and this players high level of pay).

“From BF, Devastating Boris (Melbourne supporter)

Quote

My mate works in the footy dept for GWS but as we all know Sydney is very small and he often gets swans news. He can't say anything more other than to strap myself in for a big week if everything goes well."

“I thought sydney could trade their players for draft picks, but could not trade players for other players, if so they maybe looking to get as many early draft picks as this their sole source of new blood this year.”

“Correct. Can only trade out their players for picks, not other picks”

With that in mind being Sydney and a Black and White swan I think one player is TOM MITCHELL.

Notice the Black Swan and White Swan,

You could throw Buddy, Lewis Jetta, Aliir Aliir & Jordan Lockyer into that basket

So if we get this thread to say 100,000 posts we win the flag? Is that how it works? :):):)
