It's really disappointing this [censored] wants to leave the club.

He is just such a good footy player when he's on song. Top 5 in the league IMO.

I'd really hoped he'd return to the Demons in due course.

We need good compo for this. Obviously.

if its a true statement i wouldn't mind hearing/reading it, however i understand if you don't want to be the bearer of bad news lol

A very solid Melbourne person who i have met a few times, and i know they goes to all training sessions..all games and all club functions told me today that Clark had infact "done a Carey" on one of his team mates...It happened apparently before Roos arrived, and that the club wants him out.

His "depression" is mild to say the least and was used as a smoke screen..

This would explain why he was able to swan around taking photos of beautiful women.

I have always been "suss" on his Severe Depression as people who suffer this badly often do not leave the house...I know every case is different but for Clark to be up & firing in 6 months i do not believe............

Take it or leave it, but this person would not talk about this sort of stuff if they did not believe it to be true....

Hmmm interesting. Do you know who the other player involved is?

May also explain some indifferent form by one of his teammates...?

Pure speculation, heard nothing.

Well, it was only a matter of time until someone blamed Watts for something.

God damn that is some explosive stuff there!

Indifferent form of one his team mates, try finding a needle in a haystack for that one!

His partner must be the forgiving type then as they are very much still together. Doesn't mean it didn't happen, just making the observation.

Can't divulge, but I know the players they are willing to offer.

Which club are you talking about? I was actually answering a post by WYL on the reason for MC leaving.

What has Watts got to do with this topic?

That is all i know....But it does fill in some gaps...

I know a family friend who has severe depression & hasn't not been out of their bedroom in 25 years....The story we were given did not add up.

Sure...Quite possible that Clark is very remorseful that it happened, But from what i was told the club want him gone....It would also explain why he could still go to the Filth

If Clark had real depression he wouldn't be taking a job next door to the old one.

You're a doctor, yes?

No i am not....But if you require a New Start...going to the club next door doesn't cut it

Thought so. I guess that doesn't mean you can't stop making wild and general statements about a bloke you know nothing about though, does it? Just because you know someone who handled their depression in a certain way doesn't mean Clark will do the same. Everyone handles every situation in life differently. This is no different. To be so dismissive of Clark and what he needs is short sighted and ignorant at best.

I'm not denying your mates claim, although that can be added to the long list of everything else that's been brought up as part of the speculation, and I am not all that happy with the way Clark has handled things, but that doesn't mean you can have a crack at his depression when you know zero facts about it.

wowee, didn't see that coming.

I had thought perhaps the depression was covering something, but not something like that!

I guess it doesn't really matter who that other player is, although it does get you wondering.

If that is indeed the case then of course he has to go.

That makes me angry...IF true.

cut the cr@p man, its been done 100 times in this thread - theres also far more confronting opinions around various social media sites.

WYL has simply posted something he was told with some of his opinions - i.e. what a forum is for.

To be honest I'm surprised you bothered with such a reply, have you read through this topic? it goes on for ever with pages and pages of peoples criticism.

I will say one thing Wise....Mitch Clark had/has Mild Depression....If it was any worse he would not be shopping himself around as he is to the toughest sport in the land....

He just wouldn't have the mental strength....

Wasn't having a crack at his claim. You might have read the thread but you don't read the posts all that closely. Was having a go at his attitude towards something he knows nothing about. If he posts the claim, which of course he has every right to do, then that's all well and good. But the rest isn't required.

I get it man, my care factor for other peoples opinions on this thread have dropped pretty severely due to how much attention it gets.

I guess I'm surprised you bothered to express your opinion on that particular sentence of WYL post.

I do appreciate peoples inside info.

and under all the media scrutiny that comes with not just AFL footy in general but being one of the most talked about players in the news at the moment and the media watching your every move

If my source is on the money, it is a pity it didn't make the papers...Stealing another mans Girl is Not On....Any decent man knows it...Once it happens all trust is burnt.

Wild speculation/deduction to follow:

Stef Martin's last season with the club there were rumours about how unhappy he was, including that he'd had a very nasty break up. This would have been in 2012.

Mitch Clark arrived at the club in 2012.

By the end of that season Stef had asked to be traded and took himself off to Queensland.

Can we put two and two together here?
