1000 weeks or less.

A week!?! Bloody lucky he didn't break his jaw. If he doesn't get 3 down to 2 as a minimum I'll lose all faith in the system.

You still have some?

I salute you, oh dying breed.

will get 2 weeks down to 1 with an early plea. Can't see it being any less

You mean the offence will seen to be equal to Dawes' gentle brush? Like the MRP itself, that is a huge joke.

Come on guys, he's gone for QB, whether he gets 3 or 2 doesn't matter. Maxwell out too. Let's hope for a clean bill of health for us today, and more importantly, a super competitive effort all day

They need to throw the book.

The last few weeks a number of players (Viney, Hannebery, Cooney) been involved in contact that collected the head and in some cases caused damage. These players weren't charged because they were contesting the ball reasonably and protecting themselves.

This is somewhat embarrassing for the AFL after their "no contact to the head" policy.

So what should be banned? This.

High contact (hit his head).

High impact (player was subbed).

Intentional (Sidebottom jumped into the contact and lifted an elbow)

Best case scenario for sidebottom is that they judge it reckless, but that would be very generous. While he is initially contesting the ball when he realises he won't win it he elects to jump and bump. Surely that is intentional.

Fastest report in history?

Saints fans aren't even booing him, hadn't sat in their seats yetif indeed any turned up.

That Brodie Holland hit on Brett Montgomery in a final would go close. Fark that was a big hit.

In view of the recent scrutiny of the "bump" etc. It was an outrageously stupid lack of discipline by Sidebottom to carry out that act - he'll have to get a fair whack in return. (you would hope 4)

How's the attempted spin in this article?

Laughable that neither coach says they have seen the incident. More spin than Warnie and Murili at their best.

You would hope (and that is having nothing to do with Q Bday). I hope I'm wrong and that the mrp listens to their own commentary about the bump when deciding on a penalty.

I would think at the first bounce, all eyes would be on what was happening. Find it hard to believe that neither coach was looking on.
