Practice Match - Melbourne v Hawthorn @ Casey Fields

Jeremy Howe IS the MFC forward line.

If Nathan Jones's cut under the eye resulted from Jordan Lewis bump then you'd think Lewis'd be up for a holiday.

Could Howie be our saviour at full forward with so many injuries to tall forwards?

Is JKH, or Salem playing?

21-1 early. Obviously struggling to get the ball forward. Jones is back on the ground after the Lewis hit so that's some good news.

ohh woe is me....we won't win a game all year and have a percentage of 20 :-(((((((

Quarter-time: Haw 3.5.23 to Melb 2.2.14

Sounds like we had a mini-surge in "red-time " to bridge the gap, good to see.

Excited by the time (soon) when Jeremy is our third forward.

Rule 1 - the head is sacrosanct

Rule 2 - except when it is on a MFC player, like last week for example

any big possession getters for us so far?

We weren't scoring at the time which would mean we were struggling to get the ball forward. Didn't realise stating the obvious was a 'woe is me' type post.

Not sure about JKH but Salem isn't playing if you had read the team lists, as he wasn't even named in the squad.

Pretty please

With sugar on top.

My woe is me comment wasn't directed specifically to you, but I am certain that there will be some, maybe many, who will delight in that interpretation of events

8 scoring shots to 6 given an out on the full and one that fell short

Is there a "scoring end" favoured by the wind? If YES, who had it in Q1 ?

Jonesy lays a great smother. Right in the thick of the action, yet again.

Dunno, im not there. Just following on twitter

29 - 14 Roughead scores

I'll be more excited when he is our 4th. Hogan, Clark, Dawes and Howe.

Whos on Roughead?

Saints up 44-18 over Port at their practise match

Expect to see the bookies revise the odds for our first game.
