Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:1-3

Yeah I think we keep religion out of football.

Thanks Lord. I have been tempted and transgressed . However, I'm already a better man for reading your uplifting words. Perhaps you should spread your tidings on Bomberblitz?

What laws is that?

Thou shall not take performance enhance or banned drugs

Strangely AOD9604 in the form of a cream additive ( like many cosmetics ) has USDA approval...go figure

IF this is fact, then unless there are substantiated allegations that our players were given, by injection, other substances then surely they can investigate all they like but it will get nowhere.

There are no suggestions, as far as I am aware, that our club engaged anyone to systematically inject our players with any substances, legal or otherwise.

Ive posted elsewhere.. USFDA approval is nothing even with GRAS if not validated by our TGA then all bets off. Funny how it works, hey James ??? lol

I just flushed our vitamins, sorry I mean supplements down the toilet so we are all good now!

Good news we still have some banana cake left for you.

Do you know something?

He a Melbourne Supporter so he would be use to getting a flogging during the AFL session, it a requirement of being a supporter.

I wonder if we have been given the all clear behind the scenes on this

It would be hard to see Paul Roos taking the gig at the MFC if there were any chance we had any serous involvement with PED's / Dank and trouble was on the horizon

I imagine this would have been one of the conditions that needed to change for him to take the job, and in the same way would have ruled Neil Craig out of serious considerations.

Given the current disposition of the MFC players regarding a potential ASADA investigation I don't think the AFL can make any promises in this matter.

What's at stake at worst ? Trengove? Maybe one or two others? Certainly not the whole team.

It's certainly a consideration but not an absolute no go for Roos.

The AFL may mitigate the potential fallout by promising a level of PP.

RedLeg and Old Dee it time to hide your Banana Drinks as the AFL may find them.

The team has obviously heeded his words.

They subjected themselves and us to floggings every damn week.

dont forget that the afl's investigation and ASADAS investigations are two very different things.

the afl has finished theirs and punished essendon accordingly. the AFL is done and dusted on this.

ASADAS is still very much in progress.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
