GAME DAY - Round 12

Today, take the $34 about it and load up.

OMG you are right!

I just worked out the MFC season so far and its been nothing less then brilliant!

The plan has always been to Tank for better picks without any chance of getting caught as well as receive lots of money from the AFL so the MFC can put all of it on this game at 34 to 1 without risking any of its own money. Its actually a Mega Debt Busting round which has been years in the planning.

Then the MFC can then reinstate CS, DM and MN in round 14 and exclaim them all to Hero status.

At thr game, really poor turn out of Dess fans from where im at, seems like we are out numbered about 5-1. Very little noise when we ran out.

Gee wiz out team looks average on the field. I would be amazed if we won. Saints just look to have that bit too much class for us.

Anyway go Dees!!

Saints will [censored] Melbourne.

Sticks and stones may break our bones but whips and chains excite us!

Let them come and try hehe.

No Jamar, No Gawn

1 extra rotation down in the mid field (ie., lost McKenzie but replaced him with?)

No Key Forwards and few dominant (alternative) forwards who can kick a bag between them

Good Luck, we're going to need it

Fox broadcast... Nick Riewoldt and his 'little' lieutenant Nick Dal Santo haha.

Based on this i am picking the Dees, thanks 316.

we lose by 30

Farren ray.... so close to being a demon last year

80+ point flogging coming up.

Roos will return a call to PJ and say "ummmm, not thanks mate."

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Used to hope we'd win, now I just hope we get a touch...

Just embarrassing. Maybe sacking the coach might work???

Pederson is as useless as demonland member, bitter but optimistic

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

Melbourne returned to its city citadel, IKON Park, boasting a 10–2 home record and celebrating its 100th AFLW matchwith 3,711 fans creating a finals atmosphere. But in a repeat of Round 11, Brisbane proved too strong, too fit, and too relentless.  They brought their kicking boots: 9 goals, 2 points.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Brisbane

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
