HERE HE IS!!! Red and blue polo :)

ROOS COMES OUT IN A MELBOURNE POLO TOP!!!

he looks sexy..

Yes I do, I have stated that before, if it was Leigh Mathews, then I would be doing cartwheels.

Roos inherited quite a healthy playing list from Eade, he had two bloody good assistants in Lyon and Longmire, a lot of the clubs were struggling, West Coast was really the only challenger, yes he changed footy by having role players, but he then got out when a rebuild was on the cards and has been away from the 'frontline' for a while......I will reserve my judgement

Do you try and go against the grain on purpose or something? All year you were telling us everything was going to plan when we were clearly up to our eyeballs in dung, then when the best news that we've heard in arguably decades hits, you're the one person going "meh, I'll reserve judgement" when everyone else is doing cartwheels.

Argh, it keeps popping up not available - devistated.

Personal training haha check demonland while client is on a spin bike

Hi Saty glad to see you are still among us.

The big job is still to improve the playing list without that we are not going anywhere fast.

However Roos will give hope to lost supporters/ members and hopefully help acquire a new major sponsor.

If he can make us competitive in 2014 I will be happy.

Everything above that will be a bonus for me.

Yes I am still here OD, had a daugthers wedding, work and a couple of other things, and as I said before nothing much worth talking about or beating myself up over, looking forward to Sunday to see how Casey go......will do my usual preseason watching with interest, just been there done that as far as footy goes...........

Brilliant Stuart!

Sounds like a succession plan

There is a succession plan

How big of a rebuild could it have been if they won a flag a couple of years later? But I too agree with you. I think Roos is way overrated, in that nobody could possibly be as good as what he's been built up to be. Even Jesus had doubts. Buddha took years to figure out the way to enlightenment. And Muhammed...well let's just stay clear of that area all together. I don't want to get blown up.

But all the same, it's #RoosYourDaddy time!

Looks like we might get an assistant coach under Roos wing and led him into the role in 2-3 years time

e.g. (Buckly and Mick)

No it wasn't rose coloured, with the coaches in the last five or six years you had posters on here shouting from the rooftops about how good a decision they were, then when it goes pear shaped, bang denigration etc.......both Bailey and Neeld had plans, which in hindsight, which is a wonderful thing, didn't work...so they paid the ultimate price, wasnt my decision it was the Club's ...........I support whoever is coach/CEO/Footy Manager at the time, if they go, I move on (unlike some)....Roos will have plans.......if they work good, I will support whilst he is Coach.........I just think he is not worth a cartwheel from me at the moment........the Leigh Mathews comment in another post above being tongue in cheek

Sounds like Roos is taking the role like Peter Jackson.. Sorting us out, sorting our list out building a culture and then handing it off.

I dont want to get ahead of myself , but I am feeling now this strange sensation , OPTIMISM !!!

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
