No contest. You'd cross the sahara to have a whack at this...

Heard Richard Champion on the radio only a couple of years ago, said he went to a football function in Tasmania that JR was a guest at. Champion said that he (JR) was the biggest jerk he'd met in football, that he couldn't get over how arrogant he was, and that while he was getting paid a significant amount for being there, would refuse to do anything above and beyond what was originally explained, which basically included a set time for signing autographs. I've always thought he is a first class [censored], nothing has changed my mind since, probably more a case of confirming my thoughts.

Why Swallow?

I knew that it would be questioned! Not sure really, it's just a vibe! His brother is alright, just think David comes across as a smart ar$e. Could be a nice bloke if I got to know him, but same could be said for anyone really!

Do we get to vote?

Yes entries for nominations close at 5pm today and then I'll be running a poll. The first RR Poll © of 2013.

The poll winner gets their melon superimposed on the end of Mike's fist in the following pic.

A bit unfair on poor ol' Fitzy. He's come a long way since then.

McAvaney and Bristle certainly make watching the footy a bit more difficult and are deserving of a mention.

Yes if the criterion were widened to include online football forum nuffies, it would be a no-contest.

Isn't that Brett Kirk?

Last seen plying his trade on Demonology.

That is however, an almost generic head... could be Harpo Marx, Neil Gaiman, Brett Whitely, and it would seem, numerous others.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
