All you have done is parrot "Restraint of trade" without having the clue of the law or its application of it to the current situation.

Every law, by-law, regulation or ordinance is challengeable in the Courts. There may well be an issue. But what is the commercial driver to take it to the Courts

Whether a legal challenge will depend on:

1. Who the aggrieved party is? Looks like only Tippett is an issue as the article referred to if he was deregistered (Clue: notice the "if"). His pockets wont be as deep as the AFLs.

2. What have they lost or been denied? Uncertain. This is still to be determined if at all.

3. What is the cost and time to take to challenge the particular laws in Court? The length of a piece of string. They wont have much time with the football season starting soon.

4. What is the likelihood of success and what would be deemed success? If I flip three coins and.....

The issue is whether the technicality has commercial legs to become a "legal minefield". Its far from certain this will go anywhere beyond the recognition of possible issue was contingent upon a certain penalty being imposed.

And to be clear. I am not disagreeing with you WYL as you have not put anything of substance up beyond the melodramatic cliches.
