Geelong's end of season celebrations

Featured Replies

Who gives a rat's about Geelong's EOY celebrations? Every year the footy world waits with bated breath for what silly costumes they'll all wear, but what's so great about it? Sorry to be a party pooper, but I just don't see the fuss.

Somehow they do it better than the rest! (Matty Scarlett is well worth a look!) Enjoy the humour and have a laugh Chook! At the moment we MFC supporters don't have much else to laugh at.

Imagine having players who were so successful that they could get up to these sorts of shenanigans? No, nor can I.

suprised they didn't wear school Blazers.

Poor Garry, i don't understand what is funny about a badly broken leg?

Maybe its because i spent large chunks of time in hospital as a kid.

Obviously if Demons do something like this, most of the posters here going to blame team culture?

Absolutely.

Had a laugh at Bartel and Duncan dressing up as S.Rice & K.Bryant. This following last years effort of Ricky Nixon and Duthie. Have to laugh.

It's all good fun. After all they have the runs on the board, or the wins notched up to deserve themselves this lighthearted FUN.

They deserve it.

All clubs do it Geelong just big note themselves, and I suppose they have a right to

Wasn't sure where to put this, anyway Chapman, Enright and Hunt all re-signed on one year contracts. More celebrations for the Cats...

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
