WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CAMERON PEDERSEN

Olisik and RPFC please stick to the topic and stop the personal point scoring.

The threads are big enough without having to wade through your pointless posts.

Agree to disagree.

Thanks

Peterson becomes vary valuable with rotations and the ability to swing from defence, ruck and forward..

Sounds just like the guy we're trying to offload to Brisbane. I fail to see what Pedersen will offer above Martin. If you looked at Martin's highlight package you would see some great acts. This one has me stumped!!

And I don't know why people think Pederson will be of any use in the ruck. He's 193cm FFS.

Leigh Brown was 193cm, he was pretty useful. Could impart some knowledge onto Pedo.

And I don't know why people think Pederson will be of any use in the ruck. He's 193cm FFS.

203cm if you count his hair

Back up ruck is only supposed to be in the ruck 15 mins a game FFS.

203cm if you count his hair

quick, put some superglue onto it & set it like 'punk mohekan', we can use him as a battering ram.

supposed???

Why?

The back up ruck spends more time out of the ruck than in it.

They need to be useful in the forward line - if they are not, then they are a liability.

Oh, OK, so Pederson is to be titled 'Sir backup Ruck' then, & shell be known as thus for his eternity.

right got it, king whats his name???

Willie, thats it isn't it, King Willie.

Martin is not a natural footballer and moves awkwardly.

Pedersen looks like a natural footballer and takes clean grabs of the ball.

Edwards for pick 74 to Tiges, why are we contemplating paying overs?

Pedersen & draft pick for Gysberts

I'm guessing it will be 38 or 39

You mean you are hoping it will be 38 or 39...

I only like this deal if 39 is part of it and it gets Ray.

The other deal is the head scratcher...

Trade radio saying it's Gysberts and a late pick being traded for Pederson.

If so, oooovvvveeeerrrrsssss.

We are getting the late pick.

It will be useless unless we get Ray with it.

they have pick 58 surely not that.

I'm hearing we are giving them a pick, not them to us?

Pretty sure they're giving us one but what's the point if it's anything over 40?

Ive been really happy with our trades but im not sure about this one. But then again apart from Jordans first ever game I cant remember much else he has done. Im backing Neeld in and it would be nice if he could explain some of these trade moves. But I welcome Cam to the club and hope he does well.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
