Neeld and Co have alot to teach our players about the basics of smart playing the percentages footy.

Well that is Neeld's job and he's doing a s#@thouse job of it so far.

Melbourne players refuse to sprint. I saw Bartram consciously go up a gear chasing Dennis-Lane, only because he had to, before that he was running half-paced. His only gear should be his top gear.

Love the commentry "kicks it into 50, marked by richards, the only player who attacked that footy"

Sums it up

No i meant at the moment. He's tearing us one. So swap and put Magner on Kennedy maybe as a change up

I don't agree. We know Kennedy is their best. McKenzie is doing an OK job of stopping him, so let that work. We need to find another way to stop Jack. McKenzie can't do it all himself. It's not a solution to just move McKenzie onto whoever is playing well at the time

Quick Neeldy.....Ring the changes! (Like sticking a finger or 2 in a major leak of the dyke me thinks haha)

All this talk about trying to instill a defensive mindset, that it's the players who are to used to skiing downhill... There comes a point at which a coach's credentials and ability must be questioned.

They are pitiful. The same issues over and over and over and over again. No rectification at all. How long until we start seriously querying the coaching tactics? I don't understand how new coaches at other clubs to instill improvement, but we play like we have lost major players, and starting a rebuild. It's pathetic stuff. Worst team in the league by a country mile. Awful, awful stuff.

Worst team in the comp by a mile.

Fair enough, but surely we could beam Macca up and get Spock to clone us another 1 or 2 pronto ???

Jones coughs up the ball for another easy swan goal

Pathetic. Time to start asking questions and seeking accountability. Making an average score team look like a superstar team.

Listening to triple m. sounds like a nightmare.

Kennedy steals the ball and kicks his second.

There WILL and SHOULD be a ton more pressure on Neeld's job after this. This is too pathetic to be just "learning a new style".

Questions now need to be asked, and blame will be laid at his feet this time.

Cant beleive my membership money is paying these guys to jog around and ass slap and joke around. Last time

We are a pathetic bunch of heartless squibs

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
