From all reports I've heard, Green did not play well on the weekend in the VFL. Can someone please explain to me how this puts him in the mix?

I doubt they would come out and say to the media he had a shocker and is no chance.

Consider the following

We did not set the world on fire without him

He is a past Captain

He is in his final year

It is the Stynes memorial match, he knew big Jim well

Brad has given good service to the MFC over a long period

It is not as though he is keeping a good junior out of a game

He will pay on Saturday because the MFC will not make the same mistake they made with Junior.

Maturity & concentration, unfortunately, we need to stop the 3rd Qtr bleeding. and late in Qtrs bleeding. this is the trade off for youth over maturity.

If we were playing the old man on man stuff we could probably play more youth and get away with it, but with the flood &zones defensive stuff, you've got to be switched on or your shot.

This IMO is why we should revert to a 2 inter + 2 Sub: (2 avail from gamestart, reducing to 1after half time) + 1 Emerg', for Hospital cases.

    Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force for training at Gosch's Paddock on Wednesday morning for the MFC's School Holidays Open Training Session. DEMONLAND'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS REHAB: TMac, Chandler, McVee, Tholstrup, Brown, Spargo Brown might have passed his fitness test as he’s back out with the main group.  Sparrow not present.     TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training.     There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
