Port Adelaide v Melbourne NAB Cup Week 4

Has everyone else lost the connection?

As soon as they started talking about Melbourne, the first comment was something like 'Melbourne have had an inconsistent pre-season, they knocked over Collingwood and then got smashed in another couple of games'...must have included the intra-club

I just lost the connection :-(

Go via AFL site, Matchday centre whatever they call it, "Radio" button thing on the right hand side.

It doesn't get any better though ...

Same here, not sure whether to be annoyed or relieved.

Bate Blease Tynan (subs) Dunn sub for the quarter.

5AA is not Buffering, as soon as Melbourne was mentioned!!!

What a farce South Australia is...haven't stepped over that border since 1990...don't miss it at all!

Not going to be able to stomach much of this.

port are playing with themselves

Blease goals!!!

Great commentary - Blease sub - no wait he's now kicked a goal.

Oh thank God!!

We are out on the ground..

My favourite bit was Watts being 'rested' as a conspiracy because we don't have a game next week but Alipate Carlisle being rested is a sensible manoeuvre.

Also they were talking about John Butcher coming from Collingwood where he couldn't get a game last year.....

I lost the connection too. As soon as they mentioned that Melbourne was back on the ground and started talking about Jack Watts.

Interesting to see Mitch Clark dish one off to Blease.... Blease from 45m GOAL....

It is nice to see that Blease pinch hitting down forward could be a master stroke.... The kid can kick!

If you were listening on the 5AA website stream you have to go to AFL.com.au and pick it up there.

Port currently going 2:1 in uncontested possessions

Westhoff kicking for goal and misses.

8 mins gone. Port 1.1. 7 MFC 1.0.6

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
