That offer sounds like there's an asterisk attached?

Not sure if this is related but my cousin posted his new remote that he received from Foxtel on Facebook.

Looks to be a likely type; lots of options with him. But I'm afraid some people might judge him by the colour of his skin and get worried about him nicking off home too soon, or even blowing up early in a game, especially if the AFL decides to go down the 2 interchange, 2 subs path.

$100 to install and $50 per month doesn't seem too bad, though i have to keep reminding myself it's only about $1.60 a day ! Every game live plus no ad breaks siren to siren is appealing .

Like fox footy? I've got foxtel with fox footy but would like to cancel this and get just the footy with a kickback to the club if this could happen. Is that what this is?

If only. That's one of the main gripes about Foxtel - that you end up paying for a lot more than what you actually want. I had Foxtel for years and thoroughly enjoyed it, but times have changed. All I got it for was so I could watch AFL, NBA, NHL and NFL. Now OneHD has great NFL coverage, I pay have access to watch every NBA game of the season live or whenever I have the time, and I can find a friend or relative to watch Melbourne games with when the Dees are interstate and only shown on Fox. I just can't afford the $60+ dollars on Pay TV any more - I assume IQ is just $10 extra per month with this deal, as Foxtel is as useful as a bag of vomit without it.

Again, if I had Foxtel, I'd enjoy it. It provides countless hours of entertainment, but they will need to continue to be creative about how they deliver their packages, as people will continue to watch the TV/movies/sport online when they want to.

I like Fox Footy channel... thanks to them, I've had the pleasure of watching us beat Collingwood 4 or 5 time already this week :)

Haha, I know! Never thought I'd get sick of seeing Melbourne beat Collingwood.......but I think I actually know the commentary off-by-heart! haha!

I'm guilty of this as well! It was on again last night around 9PM. So yeah, I watched it again. It gives you a chance to watch for little things you may have missed the third time around. Like how well Nathan Jones played, some of the things he did that werent on the stats sheet (that we see in the paper anyway), pressure acts, chases to force errors, shepherds, bumps, he really worked hard whenever he was near the contest Saturday night. Oh, and how Ricky P could easily have had 5 goals too, all the ones he missed were eminently gettable chances.

There are so, so many channels on Fox I've never watched for more than 5 minutes over the years that I've had pay. Such a waste of money to be paying for all those channels I dont need. If you could just choose which ones you wanted pro-rata I'd choose all the sports ones,a handful of music and news channels and could happily turf the rest...

Just installed . With the basic package that adds 12 sports channels you get the low-tech , non HD set- top- box so the resolution was only average. The Channel 9 picture via Foxtel for the cricket final wasn't a patch on the free-to-air. Though i'm not prepared to upgrade , i'm reasonably content to relax and enjoy the many footy options and a bonus is not necessarily having to visit friends, relatives and pubs for our "minor" interstate games .

That tv remote is freaking awesome.

You can get your club remotes at any FOXTEL Kiosk at shopping centres. $49.

I've got IQ and recorded it. Now I watch it everytime I'm down. (I'm not down for long)

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm
