I said the approaches on Clark commenced before Neeld was appointed. It in no way denigrated the efforts of Schwab and Neeld and err money to finalise the deal. Nice try though. You got the facts about the crappy hotel room right.

Tynan is 186/77 from the club website. Where do your stats come from? He'll be a strong lad.

Oh its 77 kgs and not 76 kgs. Well that makes a difference. At 77 kgs he is two kgs stronger than those other strong lads Davey, Bennell and Blease. Strong lad indeed. He is a stick that will need developing for AFL. He's 8kgs lighter than Trengove and he still needs development.

It seems pretty clear to me that Neeld had massive input in picking Taggert at 36.

From media articles written when he was first appointed Mark Neeld got advice from Malthouse to be involved with everything in the first 12 months at the club.

Neelds speech at the AGM reflects that he had a big say in picking Taggert.

A coach get involved in everything in the first 12 months of club. ,No... Never. More a case of the bleeding obvious.

A coach will always have a say in the type of footballer. How much that converts to Neeld picking the players is speculation.

Let's hope his performances reflect on his pay packet.

Regardless, for some to discount Neelds influence in securing Clark is just ignorant.

Pity no one is doing that. But continue with the melodrama.

We have been unbelievably proactive in trying to add the highest quality personnel to our football club, and that has been the philosophy since Neeld arrived.

We have every right to be excited about future appointments.

Why do you think that you are the most argumentative moderator on this forum?

Neeld is clearly a different breed of coach. One that we have not had for a long, long time.

I'm not doubting the fantastic work Stynes has done. He united the club. He is a people's person. That's what he is so good at. Bringing people together, (hence REACH).

Neeld is the one who has come in and pretty much taken control of everything within the FD, and said 'this is how it's going to be.'

If you believe we would have acquired all of Mitch Clarke, David Misson, Neil Craig, Leigh Brown, all the line coaches, all the draftees and approached one of the best recruiters within the AFL without Neeld, then you're dreaming.

If you believe we would have acquired all of Mitch Clarke, David Misson, Neil Craig, Leigh Brown, all the line coaches, all the draftees and approached one of the best recruiters within the AFL without Neeld, then you're dreaming.

I have never made that argument but merely pointed out the obvious flaws in your argument but continue with the hissyfit

And until we see what Neeld produces on the ground this year we wont know what sort of coach he will be. You do love the hoopla dont you Stevie?
