I dont mind this oddity of a game, but I think its days are numbered now......

Agree - especially as the normal seasons are much longer now and the players are keen on a beers, pizza and some r and r before early preseason starts.

I agree it was good to see him fire up when the two Irish lads came over to the huddle. Hopefully he can add some aggression like that next year.

But in all honesty, as some poster's have already noted, he looks past it. Some of those free kicks he received were embarrassing. He was fallng over, missing shots he should be kicking. The same stuff we saw from him playing for the dee's this year.

Sad to say but it really looks like his days are numbered.

I still want someone else to take over as captain next year but I would love to see him turn back the clock. Get back to the year you had in 2010 Greeny.

I have to say, while it was good to see him standing up for his team, it would have been better to see him being involved in the game. He picked up an easy goal from a turnover directly in front and otherwise did diddly. Sadly similar to his form for most of the year. I really hope he puts 2011 ina box somewhere and plays the way we know he can next year.

Yes... definitely showed leadership .... except that he missed a couple of captain's goals. For a deep forward , he does lack a bit of pace on the lead but he is prepared to put his body on the line when the ball is in the air. He is a beautiful kick - if he can recover his accuracy in front of goal he will be an asset next year.

I have always backed Green and in that fact may be i bit biase but I can see Neeld loving his professilism and the way he goes about it and reappointing him next year. Im sure if brad thinks it was the captaincy that was the cause of his form(or lack thereof) he will address it and step aside. Capitan Green 2012 for me.

I want to see him earn the Captaincy....Last year when needed, he didn't.
