Spencer may become a decent 1st choice ruckman, but Gawn will be a better 1st choice ruckman.

hahahaha ... yeah right. But as I said what we think is irrelevant. We are biased.

They are interested in Gawn ... you keep whoever you want because you think he "may become a decent 1st choice ruckman"

You sound so convincing ... other clubs are not stupid. In any trade their is two parties. In the real world, the only way we will move Spencer on this year is for next to nothing, assuming we are only using 3 draft picks is this weak draft. Oh ... yes and we would probably have to cop some of his salary as well.

But yes .... its going to be simple ... you are dreaming!!!

There is more teams other than Richmond with a shortage of Ruckman

Ruck Stocks

Keep

Jamar

Martin

Gawn

Fitzpatrick

Campbell

Trade Bait

Spencer

Delist

Newton

The only other Tall we might have trouble keeping is Warnock

Spencer is not genuine "trade bait" ... I cant see any other club being interested after a knee reco.

The only possibly genuine trade bait would be Jamar, Martin & Gawn ... but we would & should not be interested.

Where is the bias?

You act as if I'm trying to convince you or someone of something.

I simply think that both of Gawn and Spencer have the capacity to become decent first choice ruckmen, and that Gawn will be better, so he is the one we want to keep.

Other clubs don't have to be stupid. If they are desperate for a ruckman, they can have Spencer - at a price.

If they don't want him - good on them. They can look elsewhere.

You underestimate the value of a good ruckman and how other clubs would view his potential and worth.

What's simple and obvious is that you need some practice in reading others' posts accurately.

Again you miss the point. Its all about ease of getting the "trade" done. Time after time it is you who displays your complete lack of knowledge about the system.

a/ Its not "tricky" & b/ If they are desperate for a ruckman, they can have Spencer - at a price.

What again is even more painfully obvious.

a/ You cant demonstrate the ability to negotiate in the "real world".

b/ You have no ability to asses the true ability of the players from both sides of the trade.

c/ You have no appreciation of the complete complex nature of your very own argument.

d/ You demonstrate time after time a simplistic onside approach to everything in the trading and drafting process.

f/ You talk with no logical overall strategy .... combined with the fact you have no ability to outline and compare the current draft or trading situations.

d/ You just consistently fail to understand where the real power lies in the whole drafting and trading process.

You are not alone around here. However, you are a wordsmith. Good on you.

Are you saying this is what DB said?? he has signed an extension?

I'm not saying that - I was under the impression from various posting on here that Max had signed a 2year extension, but according to the interview they were chatting as if he hasn't.

Your posts aren't referring to anything I'm talking about, and you seem to be unable to grasp what I'm saying, so there is no issue of 'lack of knowledge'.

Once again, from now on you will be ignored in this thread.

Someone else can respond to your gobbledigook.

Salary cap pressure ?

If any club is under salary cap pressure it's Collingwood and Carlton .... not us .

Yes, salary cap pressure.

The others (Power clubs) have they're ways of getting buys, don't they.

    GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Brisbane

It's Game Day and the Dees are deep in the heart of enemy territory as they take on the Lions in Brisbane under the Friday Night Lights at the Gabba. Will the Demon finally be awakened and the season get back on track or will they meekly be sacrificed like lambs to the slaughter?

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.
