Haven't seen DL this fired up, but understandably so.

I am so p-ssed off I actually don't want to watch any finals even including the GF. I just couldn't care less.

Have even stopped watching 360 and AFL tonight.

But the 75 year plan to win our 13 flag is still on track.

Good things come to he who waits!

Not sure which thread to post this...

I congratulate Dusty Martin on staying at the Tigers. Awesome for the Tiges and for the competition. As stated in the media ab announcement will be made b4 the Tiges final and possibly by the end of the week.

I would hate to see them lose the best player in the comp to a rival for money only. Tiges are flying and he will make more money there in the long run being a one club player.

As a Dees supporter we missed out Dusty! I feel the same with Charlie Curnow in 5 years time...

Anyone else notice Glen Archer got a fine and conviction for assaulting the official on the field during his son's game? Claimed is was self defense. He ran onto the field of play due to a fight between two players and he honestly believes he was defending himself! Lol! The umpire and a runner asked him to leave, but he thought he'd punch the runner in the face, breaking his glasses. He told the magistrate off in court upon hearing her decision and his lawyer had to tell him to sit down. Too funny!

Another AFL idol who thinks he can do no wrong and the rules apply to others.

It's his second conviction for assault. Wonder if this still permits him to remain a board member at Norf. No doubt their constitution is rubbery enough to cover this.

Don't know why I let this team upset me so much. 11 years of crap and finals there for the taking and we dish up that pathetic first quarter and only a slightly better rest of the game, against a depleted young side playing for nothing other than some pride. Then again we probably have none.

I should have stuck to banana smoothies and forgot about the footy.

You lost your way Red. That's okay.

Months of sun and other distractions . Then you'll be right to do it all over again ;)

My god Mr Leg your are really [censored] off. Never seen you like this before. It is the MFC surely after all these years you are used to failure. Think of all the other great things in your family. You are blessed. It is just a bloody football team.

I know all that and obviously appreciate the important things in life, but as you say and I am not even sure why, a week later, but I am still really p-ssed off with the players and coaches. They let the fans and themselves down and wasted a golden opportunity to have some finals experience, give everyone some reward for the rotten years, enhance sponsorship, membership, fixture  and recruit opportunities, but they just blew it big time. That still really annoys me.

I  have heard a number of the younger players are planning to train the house down this pre season like it's never been trained down before.

How's that for a start ???

Maybe the players will rebuild the house, while they are attempting to rebuild our trust in them.

Better build a concrete fence as they have broken too many.

A week down the track I am way more annoyed that there has been no comment from the coach, CEO or head of the FD.

However I had a lovely breakfast of bananas and Greek yogurt this morning it has made my day.

    TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
