maybe go to training tommorow, although it doesnt appeal to me.

also will be avoiding anybody called biff/bbo,im to old to smoke crack.

might call in at veterans hospital to see how ODs new hip is coming along.

last call melbourne zoo, have to catch up with froggy at the amphibian exhibition.

anzac day the actual reason for trip.

cows out to DRY atm. calves on the way, last chance week off.

Now jazza I have a bone to pick with you.

In a time when I am having trouble mustering any enthusiasm for the MFC or AFL at the top level

I take exception to that line.

There is nothing wrong with my hips.

If you had said a brain transplant then you would have been in order.

After all I have supported the MFC through the last fifty years of crap that must show something is not right in the head.

Even someone with half a brain would have noticed and under taken treatment some time back.

If I know who I am on Friday I will look forward to your visit and If I don't tell me I barrack For Hawthorn when you call in.

No visit to Melbourne is complete without a night at the Gat jazza.. it's a 'cultural' thing

You really should try to book a room, even if it's just for the hour.

You know the rootine well Grape. You have to take care with Biffen and his girls though - their clock tends to run rather quickly. Like some taximeters in Ho Chi Minh city.

"I'm cooked."

How funny would that be Mo!

A touch of the political campaign of Mal Maninga.

I thought you might use the rickshaw when in Vietnam.

Sure its 10kms to town from the airport but why rush.

Isn't that what alpacas are for?

BBO has other uses for alpacas.

None of them involving transportation.

What a bunch of ignorant peasants you are. When in SE Asia the palanquin is the only way to travel. You have to give the bearers a good thrashing though. Lazy buggers.

Seems a little antiquated.

There are such things as tasers these days.

What about the removal of banana privileges?

Off tomorrow night for a few weeks. Looking to invest in an overseas banana plantation.

Keep up the banter guys, love reading it.

I am green with envy Redleg.

Every time I have a banana I will think of you sunning yourself in some lovely spot well away from the Melbourne winter and the MFC.

WJ raised an interesting issue with me last night while we were out dining with our SWMBO.

Why do we seem to be the club that is forced to wear alternative strips so often?

There are other clubs that seem to clash more but still wear their club jumper.

there is probably a tv exec at ch7 who prefers melbourne's away strip to our regular strip

i think the afl outsourced this stuff to ch7 a few years ago

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
