Wow itโ€™s getting a bit testy on here.

Has somebody sling tacked someone?

You sound like a flatulence denier. What's testy about discussing the realities of daily life: as Maupassant put it, Marriage is the exchange of bad temper during the day, and bad smells during the night.

Squeaking about St Albans, I was glad to see the Haimes Paint cheque going to my old footy club, Sunshine, just down the road from Albania. I played in the ruck against Laurie Sandilands in a semi final against West Footscray in 1966, kicked two goals, was named as one of the best in a losing team.

During the second quarter our number one ruckman, a stocky Alan Morrow type, somehow lay Sandilands on the ground behind play - I'm not saying he 'struck him', right, I don't wanna get sued - and as usual I was the only Sunshine player in the area when Sandilands' team mates discovered his cadaver. They all rushed towards me and I was on the brink of blurting out, IT WASN'T ME!!!!

I think we need to get back to the basics of life, bananas and chocolate.

Thinking of night smells is making me nautious.

For all those Demonlanders who haven't posted on the T S thread, please feel free to post on this one, as long as you don't mention anything about you know who. If you have posted on the TS thread, please ban yourself from this one. If you can't think of anything to say, just say hello, as I am sure some of us would even be happy to read greetings rather than TS speculation for the next 2 months

Wondering if just the 'hello' option oughtn't to be chosen a bit more readily, once in a while?...

Not be me of course...

Door, here I come...

You know that the olfactory nerve is least sensitive during sleep,ย  probably why my wife doesn't wake up gagging.

So feel free to fart in your sleep,ย  you won't smell it either.

Edited by ManDee
I refer to smell induced gagging, not what you are thinking of BBO.

Farts mean nothing to me: I am a profound flatulater, and so is my wife.

A fart means nought to me. It is part of life, like drinking cammomile: my wife and I are world champions. We also vie for number one in the world champion snoring steaks. ( sic) .ย

Thereโ€™s accepting normal bodily happenings, then thereโ€™s actually enjoying and being proud of them.

When I was a teenager my mum told me when a couple get to the point of not caring if the other hears (or smells) them fart, it means the relationship is stale and may not be worth continuing, but if they get to the point of actually enjoying it, the relationship is here to stay since theyโ€™re too far gone. Just as my mum said this my dad walked through the room and farted loudly. They both laughed their heads off and my mum turned to me and said โ€œcase in point!โ€ย

This thread has gone to [censored] !

I suppose you wanna just go back to bananas and the preversions and decadence of the Romsey Manor. And I worked out last night - well, what else does one do when insomnia reigns, apart from reaching for yet another valium - that when you claim to be only drinking Top Shelf, that it was Moyston Claret, or Seaview Cab Sav. Am I write?

Is nautious a maritime word or a cute way of saying naughty?

That's way more succinct that the ambiguity of Maritime associations or sheer haughty naughtiness.

You started it with 'egregious'.

Jane Bunn just said during the ch 7 weather report that it would be a wet dreamtime game on the weekend. I don't think she thought that one through.

Jane Bunn wet dream time.

That is all that went through my mind.

And stiffy, thanks for bringing it up.

If you are a chocolate lover, you get better value for money on discounted chocolate biscuits, than chocolate bars.

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demonsโ€™ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.
