Perhaps discovering what is under Uncle Bitter’s kaftan would be a fitting punishment!

I didn’t commit mass-murder or anything.

She has no respect for me or this thread, as she keeps posting during her ban. I am thinking of giving Uncle Bitter her phone number and address.

I spent 20+ years masquerading as a Carlton supporter. Does that count?

Mrs Dw was a Filth supporter when we met. Nothing a good wash and a dose of think right couldn't fix.

Having any liking for Carlscum at all, is simply unacceptable, on any level.

Shame, shame, shame!

As a GOT fan that conjures a whole range of disturbing images!

All good, I saved her in time. She does have a tattoo on her forearm, it's red and blue musical notes; "My Heart Beats True"

Wow, now I feel I can 'come out' too 😁

Actually, I am the flipside ... a Carlton supporter whose second team are the Dees! [Maybe even a minority of one?!? 🤔😆].

I supported Carlton since I was a young kid but grew up in one of MFC's old suburban recruiting zones. Demons players used to come to our primary school footy clinics. Robert Flower taught me how to handball. Am a Carlton member but still watch many Dees games on tv and occasionally even catch a live game at the MCG.

There ... I am out of the closet now 😊

We are a broad community! I grew up in a Richmond zone and while I loved it when their players came to our school and we did drills on the oval I couldn’t stand the team.

After many demons hammerings I did have a brief flirtation with Hawthorn and was known to get around in a Melbourne jumper and Hawks beanie, so I wasn’t actually in the closet. Didn’t last long and was at Waverley prelim 1987 and cried.

Hey! How come despite my many laboured attempts to attract a decent length ban, only to be given a 24 hour ban, along comes “No. 31” and with one comment is banned? Moreover, banned in capital letters and with 31 exclamation marks! Yes, I counted them.

Did you mean to use 31 exclamation marks? Coz that’s a huge coincidence otherwise.

You counted them !!!!!! FMD !!!!!

I now unequivocally declare that WCW is deranged ,demented, cuckoo , crackers etc etc !

EDIT. I'm on thin ice with the moderators, so it's not tactful or diplomatic for me to say such things about @WalkingCivilWar. So please readers - ignore the above.

I'll simply settle for nut job.

Of all my unhinged behaviour, counting exclamation marks is what you regard as deranged, demented, cuckoo, crackers etc. etc. ?!

Pfft, the mods don’t read this thread. That’d be like the CEO of a hospital hanging around the psych ward. Ain’t happenin’

First let me say; tact and diplomacy are not things I normally associate with you, so bravo for trying something new.

Second; I find the Moderators are quick to delete posts these days if they believe someone will be offended. The other day I had a post deleted for suggesting that some of the posters on the "New Director" thread were tilting at windmills. I would hate deleting posts to become the norm on this thread. I love the banter, humour and wit and believe everything said is said with good ............ grace.

Perhaps you could try to confuse the Mods by prefacing your comments with something like; passionate Dee loving ..... nut job or something similar.

A disgracefully devious and unscrupulous suggestion  dworship - I like it.

Actually no, I just held the finger down for a burst.

I don’t want to ban you, as Uncle Bitter had his Tinder and Harmony accounts cancelled and therefore you are all he has left of the opposite sex, to associate with..

I feel a responsibility to ensure he is not left alone, in that dark lonely manor he resides in.

You shouldn't have made that pubic .... err public Red.

Those matters were just a misunderstanding ..... a language barrier or something. Anyway , I'm sure I'll be cleared of all charges.

See, this is why I always make sure I send smoochy-face emojis in groups of prime numbers, so there can be no doubt that they were individually crafted rather than copy-pasted. She'll count, she'll count, and one day she will accuse!

Not specifically this instance; I have never sent bulk smoochy-face emojis to WalkingCivilWar. That I know of.

I’m more of an it-has-to-be-even-numbers kinda gal, Little G. Feel free to send me as many smoochie-face emojis as you like, so long as they’re in multiples of two. 😘😘

  • NON-MFC: Round 06

The Easter Round kicks off in style with a Thursday night showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood, as both sides look to solidify their spots inside the Top 4 early in the season. Good Friday brings a double-header, with Carlton out to claim consecutive wins when they face the struggling Kangaroos, while later that night the Eagles host the Bombers in Perth, still chasing their first victory of the year. Saturday features another marquee clash as the resurgent Crows look to rebound from back-to-back losses against a formidable GWS outfit. That evening, all eyes will be on Marvel Stadium where Damien Hardwick returns to face his old side—the Tigers—coaching the Suns at a ground he's never hidden his disdain for. Sunday offers two crucial contests where the prize is keeping touch with the Top 8. First, Sydney and Port Adelaide go head-to-head, followed by a fierce battle between the Bulldogs and the Saints. Then, Easter Monday delivers the traditional clash between two bitter rivals, both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top end of the ladder. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • REPORT: Essendon

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.
