I notice that this thread is approaching 452 pages which was Sir Donald Bradman's highest first class score.

Surely, the time has come for us to do a Matthew Hayden and put an end to this thread at that number of pages to honour the great man?

Plenty of other threads you can worry about WJ, leave this one alone.

It has reached that many pages because people enjoy it.

Why stop there? We could keep going to 700 pages to honour Mick Malthouse. Or 1360 to honour the number of goals kicked by Lockett. Or 4137 to honour Lindrum's highest-ever billiards break.

You mean Mark Taylor surely, who declared when he was on 334 ... I say lets worry about it only when we are approaching 1107 pages, the world record first class score by Victoria, and even then only to find a better excuse to keep going

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
