We certainly are. Only thread on Demonland where people don't attack each other and have a bit of fun, as well some very rare football discussion.

As soon as the jumper is passed over to a footballer.

Why have you guys starting to discuss matters football.

You're neglecting the banana industry and it's not fair.

I heard Demetriou has been offered the head banana gig at the Banana Board.

As soon as the jumper is passed over to a footballer.

He is our donation to Essendon so they have enough players to make up a team for the later part of 2014 and 5

I heard he rejected it because he is tired of dealing with things that are not straight up.

No he has said he is ripe for the job and he only needs to peel himself away from the AFL. He is such a smoothie.

Very good Mr Leg I bow to your superior skill.

That is a very unselfish gesture.

magnanimous I believe is the only appropriate word to describe this gesture by the MFC.

It shows our desire to keep the game alive in the Northern suburbs.

I have no time for bananas as it the wife birthday soon and i have no idea what to get her.

The wife did say she was NOT a MFC supporter but she still wanted to go to Melbourne with me on my football week end. So I was think the perfect gift would be a MFC membership. What do you guys think?

What woman could resist it? Eat oysters or bring viagra.

You missed absolutely nothing jnr.

ex being the critical word.

How come the good ones left and we ended with crap?

We had first pick? :blink::blink::blink:

Todd Viney is an ex MFC captain, as well as an ex Hawthorn (and ex Adelaide) coach. The exception to prove the rule, perhaps ... :)

Small as in Sherman v T34 !! Lol

Or perhaps small as in only a one-tonne ute ...

I think you are a very brave man, DF ...

I heard Demetriou has been offered the head banana gig at the Banana Board.

He'd probably lose the Big Banana, expand banana coverage to Victoria and Tasmania, sell the TV rights for a bazillion, sweep all the over-ripe bananas under the carpet, insist that there was no tanking of bananas but penalise people for doing it anyway, and go to his grave believing that no bent bananas were being paid whilst suspended ...

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
