Have great memories of Ballyshannassy Park, playing Gridiron as an 18 y.o and nearly getting killed every week 😄

Think DL could turn really feral if we lose to the Saints:

My main concern for the game is how well Max recovers from watching the Giro D'Italia final competitive stage last night.

Plus there's the let-down of commuting through the dreary 'sameness without theme' of an Australian city after watching the landscape of Northern Italy go past for five hours.

Hopefully it manifests in anger. A real 'I will create something beautiful today and nothing will stop me' moment.

I see this post arrived below a '2 weeks later...' notice. I hope achievement of 30,000 posts hasn't been 2021-like in creating a no-more-mountains-to-climb attitude.

Back on pace and on message, please, ladies and gents!

Great article by Langdon, who praises Goody and the Club Culture, for putting players’ welfare first, as evidenced by him being allowed to miss the Eagles game to attend his sister’s wedding in London.

He said the club was a great place to be and play football with as they really cared about their players.

That is a fantastic advertisement for any player thinking of moving clubs.

Pretty ordinary behaviour by Dogs fans booing Lobb.

It could put off other players from going there and staying there.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
