I’ve been called a lot of things on here, eg: crazy, unhinged, deranged. And I’ve no problem with that; in fact, I embrace it (I have to because it’s true). But… I’m “Slow”?? Dem’s fightin’ words, DD! I hereby challenge you to a duel. A Brain-off, if you will. I don’t even know what that is but I’m challenging you anyways. 20 paces at dawn (I’ve always wanted to say that). Our weapons? Words!

At the risk of being thought of as 'slow' ...that list is doing my head in ...😵‍💫

Methinks you forgot the clue(s) ...

I'll give you the answers to the first two. You'll get the idea. Most of them are pretty obscure though.

26 letters of the alphabet.

7 days of the week.........

Thanks.

Got it.  A few more:

  • 4:  12 Signs of the Zodiac!
  • 6:  52 Cards in a Pack
  • 18: 12 Months in the Year

I'm happy now! 🙃

I can solve quite a few others but how does the list help in the 'War of Words' duel?

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
